Red Rooster Hervey Bay — Restaurant in Queensland

Sadly won't be going back again haven't had Red Rooster since a child and went back to treat my son who now thinks I am crazy. The mash potato in the gravy was dry and thick needed more butter and milk added to it and the gravy was salty and thick as it was tried to prepare to quickly. There was 1 corn cob cut into 1cm slices and chicken nuggets with over salted chips. The carrots, peas, pumpkin was all absent $40 for this I won't be repeating and cannot recommend. Used drive through 29/11/2024, was asked to move to carpark and wait for delivery. Waited 20+ minutes. Walked in store, was then informed that my order was given to another customer (to easy, cook mine and I will be on my way).

Nope, wait in store 15+ minutes and watch a manager working his magic on the young staff around the age of 15. Finally get a staff member and was told they are not sure what I ordered.

Said manager Finally stops flirting and comes to front of store. I then was given a refund and was told it's not the fault of staff its the dishonest customer that took my family's meal.

Had to settle for Hungry Jack's, was less then 5 minutes there and less then half the price of this SH!T show.

Cashier was very nice. Food was not good, we thought we would give it another try, big mistake. Purchased a chicken cheese burger, it was thinner than a McDonald’s cheese burger, the photo shows a pce of thick chicken and runny cheese sauce, it had two very thin and small chicken tenders and the cheese sauce could not even see it.
