Here nor there. $4 of chips fed 3 people perfectly. As far as chips go, they were just scrapping in. They were all meant to be battered, all though half look like they had no batter on them. The chops lacked a flavour but did have reasonable crispiness.

Chicken nuggets were not worth it. Very small, lacked flavour and tasted extremely processed. By comparison there are other fish and Chip shops with really chicken pieces at good sizes.

Potato scallops were the best thing in the meal. Evidently these were on display as you walk in to the shop. Which made them look good, but I'm glad they tasted good too. Definitely recommend them if you buying something here.

Service is typical Rockhampton fast food. Not bad but not good. Just awkward! you know they are trying but at the same time felt like we were a inconvenience.

AVOID AVOID AVOID THIS place like the plague. COLD FOOD, DIRTY OILY UNCLEAN SHOP AND REALLY RUDE STAFF. We were charged $25 extra for food we didn't order, the food was cold and the staff were APPALLING RUDE. OVERCHARGE YOU FOR ITEMS YOU DKNT ORDER. The food was less then 20 degrees TEMP WISE . The leather skinned staff member had a screaming match with another customer in the Shop. I dare say they have more issues then my cold food. The place is dirty and grubby. The two older ladies touch and scratch themselves and grab food out of the cold fridge with dirty hands and no glove on. Sadly they didn't care, when I made a complaint attacked and I was belittled. Perhaps I had too high an expectation for fish and chips in a non-coastal, non-large city in Australia. The chips were overcooked, leaving only a few which seemed to be more potato that oil, and the fish was likely shark, or some other cheap fish, thick white meat with little flavour. Had a few squid rings but they seemed to be nothing more than store bought crumbed squid rings which were soggy from the cooking. Pineapple fritter was also soggy but at least tasted nice. With an average rating of more than 4 stars I would expect something a little better than most of the 2-3 star...
