Tandoori Nights — Restaurant in Queensland

Edit: My family and I still are regulars and love the place even more ... they've improved their outdoor area and it's lovely with the new lighting. Plus they now play music and have a big screen to add a little Bollywood vibrancy. Definitely the best Indian food, and nicest owner and staff in town.

..... YUMMMMMY!!! I'm absolutely shocked that every time we go it isn't packed out... the food is super delicious!! - we get a Butter Chicken made spicy (their hot is not bum-burner at all... I guess their hot is probably more a medium but OMG it's tasty!!) - it's so creamy but not fatty tasting... And we also get the Aloo Baigain (sorry spelt wrong?!) - big chunks of eggplant and potato curry cooked to perfection. We love it especially as they can do most their curries Gluten Free... which is not uncommon in Indian food, but what isn't common is that each curry tastes different from the other and is so well made.

My 7 year feasts on the kids Butter Chicken meal - she loves that she gets Nan and rice AND PAPPADUMS!! - she never gets Nan usually as my wife is coeliac.

Really PLEASE support this place... it's a wonderful family run restaurant with absolutely delicious food and fabulous service. You won't regret it... especially when the food is brought out!!

I would however recommend some Bollywood themed music or something soothing for a soundscape -as it is very quiet and with a small child a bit of ambient mood music might block out our little ones chatting. .... THIS PART IS NO LONGER RELEVANT AS THEY FIXED THE AMBIENCE ISSUE :)

I just ordered some curry, and I couldn’t be happier! I was walking back from the hospital to my accommodation and didn’t realize the time I arrived after closing (so sorry about that!). Even though it was past closing time, the staff were so friendly and provided amazing service. Lady offered me so cutlery and plates I am so tired didn’t even think of that got to my accomodation and saw they didn’t have anything I could’ve used if she didn’t provide this.

I ordered a cheesy garlic naan and a chicken korma, and it was more than enough for the two of us. The food was absolutely DELICIOUS —so full of flavor!

I didn’t even realize they were technically closed until I went to leave this review and saw the hours. Thank you so much for the incredible service and great food! Highly recommend this place!
