The Two Professors in Rockhampton is an absolute must-visit for anyone who appreciates great coffee, delicious food, and a vibrant, artistic atmosphere. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a space filled with incredible artwork that brings a unique, creative vibe, making it so much more than just a cafe—it feels like a little piece of Melbourne tucked away in Rockhampton.

The coffee here is truly outstanding. It has that rich, smooth flavor I’ve come to love back home in Melbourne, where coffee is taken seriously. It’s clear that the baristas at The Two Professors know their craft, delivering consistently excellent coffee that hits all the right notes. Whether you’re a flat white fan or prefer a strong espresso, you’ll find it made to perfection here.

The food is just as impressive as the coffee, with a menu full of fresh, flavorful options that make it hard to choose just one dish. Everything from the breakfast classics to the unique lunch options is thoughtfully prepared, with generous portions and beautiful presentation. It’s clear they put a lot of care into each dish, and the taste absolutely reflects that quality.

Service here is also a standout. The staff are warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, creating a relaxed and inviting atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer. They’re attentive without being intrusive, always making sure you have everything you need to enjoy your meal and coffee experience to the fullest.

Overall, The Two Professors is a true gem in Rockhampton. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick coffee or settling in for a leisurely brunch, you’ll be treated to great service, fantastic food, and an ambiance that blends creativity with comfort. I can’t recommend this place enough and look forward to...

The Two Professors:

Pros: A fantastic and friendly manager/owner (assumed) who personally makes your brews to a high quality. Extensive range on cabinet foods they include Vegan, Vegetarian and Gluten Free Options. Smooth roasted beans that a absolutely delicious. They also offer a full range of alternative, healthy, and sustainable milks including Oat and Soy (there’s more).

Recommendations: A potential recommendation (if I missed this I’m sorry) is a Vegan Gluten Free cabinet item for those who may be Coeliac and Vegan. Unfortunately we were unable to find a mix, only individual based items. This does not detract from the excellent atmosphere, already amazing variety of food, not quality of their coffee!

Facilities/FAQ: Significant amount of parking available The perfect pick-me-up for a road trip when passing through Rockhampton or leaving Rockhampton early (with a 0530 open).

Summary: I highly recommend The Two Professors for your daily coffee, the weekend brunch, road trip stop over, or your morning buzz before travelling from Rockhampton. Their atmosphere is welcoming and homely and their quality of coffee is even better! We’ll definitely be back for more next time...

Finally!!!, a cafe with a blessed difference and therefore, to me, worth walking in the door!! I searched and searched until I found somewhere different, and when I did, I absolutely loved it …… from its name - “Two Professors” - to the tastefully quirky decor, to the lovely, friendly, professional and well timed service, to the wonderfully different menu (what a relief!), to the drool inspiring Cafe BonBon coffee….. everything about it is fabulously different to any other cafe or coffee shop I’ve driven past &/or looked up in Australia in the last 5 or more years, in a three thousand mile radius (if not more!). Absolutely loved it, and will happily go back when I’m in the area, which is something I would never say about any of the multitudes of snooze inspiring coffee shops in Australia with their 50-70c extra charge for (not even organic!) soy milk, when cows milk is already factored into the price!!! and present the same old yawn-worthy & fatteningly boring menus and decor. Thank you, Two Professors, for being so unique and wonderful and oh so worthy of your place in this overpriced boring copycat world. Keep it up! Please! 🙏🥰 ps: cbd, easy to find and...

Could have easily swung 5 stars today, however our initial contact with the woman at the ordering counter was uncomfortable and attitudinal at best. I received minimal eye contact when placing the order and she was notably moody. It seemed like I shouldn't have been there and was putting her out by simply placing an order. On the upside, the service from all other members including a slightly older lady who served our table and the manager who made our coffees was pleasant, warm and welcoming. We ordered two eggs benedict with salmon and a mug latte and all of these were delivered promptly and presented excellently despite a very busy environment where the team were clearly working hard to keep up with the inundation of customers for breakfast. Loved the atmosphere and design of the place. Innovative and novel. The music was an appropriate level to cater for relating at tables.
