I recently stumbled upon Artizan Gluten Free Bakery while heading through Rocky on our way to Yeppoon, and let me tell you, it was like finding the holy grail of gluten-free goodness!
First off, the Pepper Beef Pie and the Sausage Roll? Pure magic. And that GF & DF Iced Vovo biscuit? I thought I was dreamingâway better than the sad, store-bought ones that pretend to be biscuits! Plus, I finally got to have a sandwich again thanks to their GF & DF Seeded Bread Loaf. It was like a reunion with an old friend!
The team there has clearly put their hearts into creating some of the best-tasting gluten-free (and mostly dairy-free) products out there. Shout-out to Cass, who was the absolute MVP! She was so friendly and patient while I went full kid-in-a-candy-store mode, asking about everything under the sun. Seriously, her smile never faltered!
Now, for my Gluten-Loving friends out there: you might notice a bit of a difference in taste and texture compared to your regular choc-full-of-gluten goodies. But honestly? The pies and sausage rolls at Artizan totally blew my mindâtheyâre WAY BETTER than the gluten-filled versions! I kept thinking, âWait, am I really eating gluten-free right now?!â
So, whether youâre gluten-free by necessity or just a smart cookie who wants to try something new, youâve got to hit up Artizan Gluten Free Bakery. Their stuff is superb and totally a gift from the gluten-free gods. Iâll be back for moreâwho knows, I might just start living there! Thanks,...

I didn't plan on getting a sweet treat today but couldn't help myself. It all looks so inviting, was hard not to get the cupcake because I've had them several times and LOVE them but needed to try something new.
7th Time Visiting today, slowly working my way through the menu. So far my Favourite is the Curry Pie with peas đ«. All the sweet treats I've tried so far have been excellent & hit the spot. The Plain pie đ„§ I've tried twice now, tried again because the first I didn't at all enjoy so tried again thinking it was just an off day- the pastry was great, top & bottom but the filling is pretty bland. And for $9.25 I just think it could be better, but this is only my opinion. I know it's more expensive due to being GF/DF.
I'll continue my support with...
Read moreWe always stop here on our way through. Everything is always great, the venue, the staff and of course the food and coffee. You only need to watch the constant stream of customers rolling through to know there is something special here. I cringe when my wife starts looking for gluten free cafes in our travels because they can be a bit hit and miss but never in Rocky. I dont understand those who complain about the prices, put GF or Organic on anything and its automatically 2-3 times normal, a pissy GF loaf of thawed bread at Coles is $7.50. I love this place and that's not just because they didn't bat an eyelid when I spilled my coffee all...
