East Street Buffet — Restaurant in Queensland

This evening my family and i had dinner at east street buffet. 3 adults and 2 children. $24.90 per adult and the children's age plus $2 is what we expected to pay for the ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET. There was half of a small container left over on our plates and the poor waitress had to be the middle man and deliver the bad news that we would be charged $10 for not eating it as it’s considered waste. We asked if we could take it home so therefor it wouldn't be wasted but then we were also charged for the cost of the takeaway container, $12.90, even though we already paid as it was included in the buffet. Possibly the worst Chinese I've had in Rocky the calamari was store bought I go to a restaurant to eat fod I can't make at home very disappointing I recommend going somewhere else. Also they will charge $5 for every 200g you leave on a plate I have never seen a buffet restaurant do this before. Our table was sticky and drinks were overpriced $4 for a bottle of coke. Stayed at Rocky overnight on our road trip north and needed a good feed after a long day on the road. The buffet was quick and easy with the usual choice of Chinese cuisine. The atmosphere was fast and furious as it was busy keeping up with an huge amount of takeaway orders.
