Three Wolves — Restaurant in Queensland

We were there monday at 11 pm, we were like 13 people all of us working in hospitality around the city for months. The bar was empty and we started drinking some cocktails. The taste of cocktails were amazing but the service was not the same. “Max” the “ main bartender” ( a philippine with glasses) firs of all was so so rude with his teammate that started working that day and then he started getting mad at us without any purpose. To star i would like to say that he was doing so many mistakes with drinks, as i saw that he was throwing away so many alcholic part. He started closing the bar at 11:55 as they have the closing time at midnight, but we were still drinking our cocktail. Since he was pushing us to go away, we went outside the door with our drinks. We were just chilling and speaking in a good way without shouting and max come outside 3 times: 1)He asked for the glasses and since our cocktails were still full, he asked to us to do a shot and get back the glasses, in a very rude way! One of my friend did it and he closed the door of the bar immediately without get the time to the other friends to get the glass back. 2) so since he noticed that we still have glasses, he come back another time to ask the same from everybody and he was looking at us and waiting for the shot! 3) he come back a third time and he told us “ HEY GET OUT OF MY WAY/LANE” and he started pushing us to go to the main street”

We told him that he can asked in a polite way, since we were not drunk, we didn’t do anything wrong and we were not noisy!!

In my opinion since i am a bartender too and working in hospitality from 10 years, this was one of the worst guest service ever, because we didn’t do anything wrong! I saw some other bad reviews about that guy, so maybe it’s the time to have a deep talk with him. The new three wolves location is a complete letdown and downgrade. I may be too old to appreciate incredibly dark light and incredibly loud sound. But I came to what I thought was a speak easy not a night club. The unisex bathroom is not only too small for the venue size (guys welcome to the queue that women are use to) but if I wanted to see myself in a mirror to reapply that lipstick for a hot tinder date, it ain't happening. I'm going to be looking like a clown because I cannot see it was that dark. It's also a shame the downgrade of the food options. I just hope they do a food and whiskey pairing night every month to make up for the deficiencies. This had been my number one place for first dates as I felt safe.
