Tony's Pizza — Restaurant in Queensland

After last visits “experience”’which I put down to a “glitch” in the universe I ordered a pizza from Tony’s this evening by phone. When I arrived to collect it I was greeted by an aggressive , grumpy and intimidating operator who chose to berate me in front of stunned staff and customers because of my previous, honest review. This man was aggressive and intimidating in his language and body language and told me to get out of the store , leaving me feeling threatened and pretty gobsmacked. I guess some business operators are unwilling to take genuine feedback and react badly to it. Help is available my friend. Take the feedback as it was originally given and intended rather than intimidating now...

🍕🍕🍕 Where do you find the best pizza in Townsville??? My absolute favorite is Tony's pizza! It is located next to the strand, so you can pick up your order, walk few minutes to the strand and enjoy your pizza with a view 😍 Their pizzas are as Italian as they come 🇮🇹️ and are the closest match to delicious pizzas I had from a nice corner shop in Rome. The crust is very thin and the toppings are absolutely delicious 😋 This family owned Italian place has many devoted customers. Alas dear friends nothing stays the same.. it seems Tony has hung up his boots and new ownership is at the helm.

This was my go to pizza place.

The pizza (supreme) had the perfect pizza base, unfortunately it lacked seasoning.. Even so we still enjoyed it.

The garlic bread, so darn disappointing and nothing like Tony or his wife had ever served us.

Overall, disappointed but only because we were spoiled by outstanding pizza, garlic bread, and friendliness in past..

Who knows.. Perhaps we'll give it one more shot in the...
