I had the pleasure of engaging with this mad Irish lad, Neil. The banter was the sort you get in a pub and all I was after was a loaf of bread. That was until I was drawn to these gourmet looking donuts. I tells ya, it’s lucky I’m a Type 2 Diabetic because as I write this review, I’ve officially died and gone to heaven. I made the mistake of taking four donuts home and three were devoured in no time flat by three boys who are now bouncing off the walls. Kinda like Gremlins fed after midnight, but worse. I’ll pop an extra Ozempic and will likely be on the straight and narrow until I pass by The Windmill and that leprechaun pastry chef/baker/Michelin star donut...

We happen to come across this place on our way back home Sunday 17th Sept, we will definitely be calling in again next time we are in town! The pies at this place are to die for, the pastry so flaky and fresh, the flavors are amazing. Not to mentioned the array of delicious donuts and cakes! I love donuts and have been known to travel for an opportunity to get my Homer Simpson on. I grabbed a cheesecake and jam donut from the main store with a view to sit, have a coffee (my next favourite thing) and people watch. Donuts were brilliant and were worth 5 stars, but the seating at the bakery was really limited and in a busy thoroughfare. Would definitely recommend grabbing a six pack of donut awesomeness and...
