Zambrero West End — Restaurant in Queensland

I’m a Zambrero’s Burrito Lover. But unfortunately tonight I was very disappointed at Zambrero West End. Tonight I stopped in for dinner on my way home from The Strand and ordered a Big Signature Burrito which was all fine. I had added a drink and brownie. The bill was close to $30 I was absolutely gob smacked!!!! I had mentioned something to the young lady to please explain the bill. She had charged me for a big signature burrito which was fine. As I didn’t want the special signature burrito mix she had charged me additional cost for the standard salads of Tomato, Corn and Onion which I wasn’t to happy about. (I understand that there maybe a slight additional cost to the final bill if I was adding these basic salads in as extras to the already existing special signature burrito mix. But no these were to replace the special signature mix instead. Really an additional charge for a customer to have basic salad ingredients which would be so much cheaper on a burrito instead of the signature burrito mix.) I have never had an issue with ordering a burrito this way in the past from this store or any other store in Townsville. She gave me the full explanation of were the Zambrero store that gets monitored most in Townsville by head office so we have to do everything correctly ect. Unfortunately my burrito was incredibly soggy with in about 15mins of my drive home and getting to eat it. I also mentioned to the young lady there was 2 signs for your Brownie’s and Blondie’s one being $3.90 and the other being $4.50 which is very confusing for any customer to know which price is correct. I wasn’t difficult about it but I did inform her nicely that it maybe a good idea to have the correct price advertised as the next customer may not be so chilled and relaxed about it. I was so ready to lose my cool over the bill and just walk out empty handed and go else where with my money for dinner tonight. i went through the drive thru today to redeem my free burrito bowl as the bowl i ordered thru the drive thru a few days ago did not have the jalepenos i ordered. when i went through today the lady at the window Krystal read my order from a few days ago to me - no beans no corn chicken bowl - i get home and this time there’s no onions. I called the store and spoke to the same girl at the window just to let them know because it seems everytime i go through something is wrong. Krystal was rude and unhelpful and tried to gaslight me into believing she told me there was no onions on the bowl. my original order had onions on it and i never told her the order - she read it off the original receipt. So ridiculous and she was so rude. I was extra nice to her when i was at the drive thru because the lady i spoke to on the phone was so lovely and helpful. AMAZING SERVICE! we were served by a wonderful girl named maddie and she was so polite and was fast to serve us! she was generous with our servings and had a smile on the entire time!

this however is the only time we have been served this well at this location. as our local zambraros we come here often and have been ignored by other staff members for upwards of 20 minutes we have been served with atrocious attitudes and the slowest service with the worst portions and old limes and stuff that has been dropped in the sour cream.

you need to hire more amazing staff like maddie who will serve us with a smile and as fast and polite as she can.

i hope she is a manager at this location because the other staff members could learn a thing or...
