Getta Betta The Lakes — Restaurant in Currajong

I can not stomach take away burgers, except maybe HJ’s so I was reluctant to try this lot. In a word : fantastic. The burger was extremely tasty, actually held together once it was unwrapped and was great to the last bite. I honestly don’t know how I hadn’t heard of this place before now but then I don’t live in Tsv. It is definitely a home made burger, nothing pre fab about these. Will definitely be telling friends about this place because they just go to ol’ faithful when they visit and usually end up whinging about the service and the fact it’s the same plastic rubbish, but there’s nowhere else to go. Great coffee, great burgers. Very morish chips and cookies. Outdoor area accessed via inside door so much safer space for kids. 5 indoor powerpoints so would be great spot for a laptop too. They have frosty mango 🥭 ice cream too :-)

I would really really love if they added:

1. Sugar free syrup for coffee. Zaraffas and their sugar free caramel will have my undivided drive through loyalty until others have this!

2. Change table in toilets (points for being clean and lovely though!)

3. the diabetic mango from frostys. I would get a diabetic mango smoothie (what i always get from frosty mango!) at least once a week if they had available!

Don't get me wrong, the burgers are expensive but outstanding. However, my husband and I do not eat bread. I would request lettuce as a bun, which they did - the only restaurant with good burgers in town that I know of that does....

Monday - I attended and got my delicious lettuce burger. Friday - I attended and was told that they no longer do it because they no longer have the Cos Lettuce that they were using.

First, they close down the Bamford Lane location. Now, I'm sad to say that they lost not just one or two, but six customers that day. We don't eat bread, (GF), so our entire family has stopped eating there.
