Kalidad Kebabs offers a range of menu options for visitors where you can get wraps/kebabs or even snack packs. You can customize your selections including meat, sauces and salads. It can be a bit slow during peak periods around dinner, but all menu items are made in front of you from the selection of ingredients they have available. Chips are usually served nice and hot too, however sometimes you do need to wait for them to cook a fresh batch and they aren't always seasoned well, so you may need to ask for extra seasoning. When they are seasoned correctly though, they are tasty. Be aware that they really pack the takeaway containers and bags aren't offered, so be careful when handling your food to ensure it doesn't spill on the way home.
A favourite is the snack pack, however they also have specials in store from time to time, and those are worth checking out.
Accessibility is a bit questionable. There is a wheelchair carpark available with ramp access, but there is a large wooden bench on the path between pizza hut and the kebab place, so it's difficult to maneuver around, so be mindful of this if accessing this place in a wheelchair. The door is also difficult to open from a low position as it appears to have some functioning difficulties as the gas for the door appears to be failing. Quite a bit of force is required to open the door.
Limited seating is available in doors with small booths and tables that can sit 2-4 people however due to COVID, a few of the bigger tables towards the back are currently packed away.
All in all, a good place for a kebab experience. Cash and eftpos facilities...
Read moreThe worst kebab we have ever eaten in Townsville ..Husband and I have just been there and ordered a big chicken kebab to share which was served in a box.It took one minute to get it served . The meat was cold and cooked ages ago , the garlic sauce was disgusting and the lady on the counter only put lettuce and onions as salad .My husband also paid for cheese and beetroot extra and there was hardly none . We paid over $25 and the quality is really bad .It used to be very good by previous owners . Very disappointing now .When we left we told the lady who served us that the quality was disgusting and the chicken meat was cooked ages ago .She did not answer .We told her that customers need to know the bad service they supply with super low quality and this constitutes cheating customers . Make yourself a favour and don’t go there as you will be not only disappointed but you will waste your dollars .Go somewhere else to have a kebab in Townsville .It is sad that the people running this place...
Read moreOne of the worst kebabs I’ve ever had. I ordered a mixed medium snack box and was completely disappointed. The meat had a bad smell, was overly soaked in sauce, and had a very unpleasant, slimy aftertaste. I know what a good kebab tastes like, and this was far from it. I was really hungry and started eating in the car, but the moment I took a bite, I regretted it. It was that bad. I went straight back inside and spoke to the lady at the counter, showed her the food, and explained the issue. Instead of being understanding, she accused me of already eating all the meat and said she couldn’t do anything about it.After going back and forth, she eventually agreed to refund half the money but honestly, it wasn’t even about the money. Not once did she apologize or even acknowledge the inconvenience. The whole experience was frustrating and disappointing. Ruined my day. I never expected this kind...
