Big Al’s Pizza in Sale is hands down the best pizza joint in town, possibly even in all of Gippsland! Every visit is a win, with delicious, generously topped pizzas, friendly service, and great value for money.

The service here is top notch, Even when they’re busy, the staff are always friendly, helpful, and go above and beyond for their customers. They even remember regulars, which adds a personal touch you don’t get everywhere. If they ever make a mistake, they fix it without hesitation even offering free deliveries when needed.

The pizzas are cooked to perfection, with crispy yet chewy bases and generous toppings that go right to the edges. Whether you’re a fan of a loaded pizza with everything on it or something simple like a margarita, you won’t be disappointed.

Out of all the.pizza shops in Sale this is the better one. The toppings are thick and pizzas are tasty.

The one thing I really need to comment on though is one of the staff had their kids running around when we were waiting. They would run about in front of the counter then duck in behind (where staff where trying to make pizzas and serve customers) whilst screaming, squealing, bumping staff, and rushing towards their mother. It is an extremely unsafe environment for the small child (maybe around age 6) to be allowed in. You need to install a gate in the gap to prevent the kids from accessing that area. Neither parent seemed to think it was an issue and allowed it to happen multiple times whilst laughing and encouraging them. Another staff looked extremely ill at easy but said nothing. Whilst the pizzas were good enough to satisfy the hungry, the shop itself is very underwhelming. I'm not sure if it's on purpose or not, but you'd definitely not want to sit there and eat your pizza in comfort even though it's big enough to cater to sit downs. Nothing about it says welcome, sit, eat, enjoy, buy something else... What it does say is, take your pizza, garlic bread, coke and go home. Kids enjoyed the pizza....
