Rock solid 4.0. There’s much to admire here. Food, service and look are all very impressive and the cafe deserves its current buoyant rating.

Cafe Treeo is a bright and buzzy cafe on the main street in Sawtell. Lovely greys and blues are highlighted in the exterior and interior look of the cafe. It’s stylish in a comfortingly low key way that works well. The cafe itself sits nicely under beautiful street trees and it is terrific at a table outside on a warm day.

I had the big brekkie which was excellent. You can’t do it much better than how they do it here. It’s a decent size. It’s nicely presented. The poached eggs were absolutely spot on. The sourdough was great. There was a beautiful wagyu sausage. Spectacular mushrooms too. A good hash brown. A huge serve of smoky bacon as well. Two very lengthy and mighty tasty slices. It’s a substantial and really enjoyable meal.

My companions had the prawn sandwich which they both declared to be a winner. They loved it. To top it off, our coffees by three were excellent. Absolutely top notch coffee. Rich and delectable with fantastic length of flavour.

The service from our predominant server Alex today was excellent throughout. We all agreed she really helped make this such a fun experience.

The Mrs found this place to check out after scoring a couple of tix for us at the movies across the road. BEST find ever!!! We were chasing a decent 'Big Brekky', and TREEO more than delivered! I personally scoured Coffs Harbour for a 'The big breakfast' to rival the cafes on the Gold Coast. I unfortunately came up empty handed as majority of Coffs cafes don't seem to believe in, "all day breakfast". The best in Coffs for a midday brekky style meal, is, Old John's cafe (near the water, Google it, careful coz you can easily miss it - and regret it). But! The best brekky style meal ever and overall within the Coffs area, is without a doubt - TREEO in Sawtell. It's worth every kilometre to zip down the highway to Sawtell to feast on their amazing menu! Amazing service, a puppy station for the pooches to rest and drink, and face meltingly amazeballs meals - prices are phenomenally great too! Thank you so much TREEO, you've earned yourself another regular, whenever I'm within a 50k radius. And also an emphatically ongoing recommendation to all that go within that radius...

Unfortunately we did not have a positive experience eating at Treeo today. When ordering a gluten free steak sandwich, which is labelled as having a gluten free option, we were asked if it was for an allergy or intolerance but were not advised on how this would impact the order. When the food was delivered there were no fries and no explanation offered as to why. When asked if there was a substitute gluten free option the answer was simply no. When trying to eat the sandwich, not even a steak knife could cut the toast, the bread was either very old or had been grilled/toasted until extremely hard. The staff did refund the cost of fries off the meal after we had asked, which was appreciated. Despite choosing this cafe based on its reviews I would not recommend visiting if you...
