Hedy's Bistro — Restaurant in Shoalhaven Heads

Had the wings as I often do and they didn't let me down. Chicken snitty burger and calamari were also good choice. The only thing that disappoints is they do not give you a bowl to put the bones on nor give the diner a finger bowl to clean your fingers during the meal. Not a huge issue just a suggestion to the Bistro.

Was out today for a large family gathering. Despite having 2 large tables available they wanted us to use 2 tables. Three of us had the chicken snitzals chips and gravey. Mine was Dianne saice and was disgusting. All snitzals were dry like they had been cooked an hour before. I was very disappointed as was my husbands salt and pepper squid. The prices were obviously to take advantage and then charge a 10% surcharge. As I previously suggested finger bowls for the wings but friends had a prawn bowl and wings but...

We have diner here at Hedy’s 3 nights while staying at Shoalhaven, could not rate it highly enough. The views over the water make it perfectly located. Being dog friendly meant we could walk our pooch to the pub for dinner and there are bowls Of water spread out. The service was great and the staff were so friendly and happily accommodated my sons allergy requirements by offering gluten and dairy free. The food was beautiful. Simple menu but great portions and great taste. Highly recommend the vegge burger (vegan) and pizzas are amazing. The pulled pulled steak burger was melt in your mouth. Overpriced, small servings and was charged extra from what the menu said at the ordering counter. Food was small serves we ordered a few large chicken snitzels, wedges, moroccan chicken and a beef burger. The burger would be the only thing i thought was good but it was still not worth the $20. All plates had a very small handful of chips. Salads were minimal, just leaves with 1 slice tomato and 1 slice of cucumber and no dressing on any of the salad and snitzels definatly wernt large as stated in the menu.
