Grill'd Burgers - Toowoomba — Restaurant in South Toowoomba

Went in Sunday night to try grilled for the first time .first and last time and didn’t even get to order food . Walked in at 6.30 and was 6 people inside and around the same outside. A few lined up for take away . Stood beside the counter to ask for a table.and got abruptly moved sideways by an hand movement and told to just pick any which was fine. Then asked for a menu and was told over there. I asked ,not having been before do I just come up and order and the fella said just order with the bar code or come up.ok fine . Went up to order and stood there for a good few minutes being ignored. Finally after the fella walked past behind the counter around 3 times he turned and said I will get to you when we can. Ok fine Then walks past again and said the same thing. I said are you too busy to take my order and once again he said the same thing. Was made so clear he didn’t want to take any orders. After watching this guy just walking around not helping other staff who were flat out cooking he walked past and said the same thing again. I said don’t bother your obviously to busy doing nothing to take my order and my money. He just shrugged his shoulders and I got my wife and left and spent our money next door. I hope who owns that store sees this because I’m just one person who has never been there before and will never try again and I would hate to see how many others have copped the...

I can’t speak highly enough of the incredible team at Grill’d Toowoomba. We recently visited during a very difficult time our dad was in the hospital and we needed a quick meal in between visits (3:00pm on the 8th June 2025). The staff went above and beyond to look after us, not only preparing our food as quickly as possible )as we got a phone call from the hospital and needed to race back immediately) but doing it with genuine care and kindness that truly touched us.

It’s rare to find service that feels so personal and heartfelt. From the moment we walked in, we felt supported and seen. The food, of course, was fresh and delicious as always, but what really stood out was the compassion and urgency the staff showed without us even needing to ask.

Thank you, Grill’d Toowoomba, for showing such empathy and humanity. You made a hard day just a little bit easier, and we’ll never forget it.

Partner and I came in for lunch today. We were the only people eating in. We didn’t feel welcome by staff the blonde haired lady gave me looks like we were bothering time out of her day. The buns on display I get there out to show what they sell but it’s not hard to replace them to make the food look better. The inside is DISGUSTING. Food all over the ground, the tables were disgusting sticky and chairs all ripped. The sweet potato fries I got looked like they had been cooked and cooked again for another hour. The food would’ve tasted better if we didn’t have to battle the flies to eat. The flies were so bad we were shooing them off our food and us while we were trying to eat. It made me worried when we left and seen the salad bar is open for the flies to go land on when they please. Overall it was a very underwhelming experience and wouldn’t eat here again ever and I have eaten at other grilld franchises that were clean and tidy, if this was my first experience at grilld I wouldn’t...
