Pestka's Bakery — Restaurant in Strathalbyn

My hubby and I stopped here for lunch on our way to Milang. Hubby ordered a fresh tomato & cheese sandwich and I ordered a pepper and potato pie. We were served quickly and thought our food was fresh and tasty. My pie was peppery and hot. Hubby bought a vanilla slice and loved it, as he has in the past, and I ordered a small iced donut. Both were fresh and delicious. The young girl who served us and the female owner were friendly and cheerful. We've eaten here many times in the past and will continue to do so...

I bought several different cakes and buns (the honey stick you could taste the honey!) for a work morning tea and not a morsel was left. The cakes were delicious and soft and left colleagues impressed. Friendly staff were patient while i made my selection. Would highly recommend...

seriously need card facilities here. in today's age it's not hard to set up with even a basic phone and a module. no wonder the bakery up the road is packed out as this one looked empty. food is good but such problem having to hunt for atms when you just want...
