Greetings Pensioners,

I just love the way visitors come to "heaven" from bankrupt cities to tell us what is good and bad in Noosa or the Sunny Coast. None of them asks me!!

I am a long-time local (tax free) pensioner. My bride and I go here almost every day to Sunshine Social – I would not bother going anywhere else.

The coffee, staff and socialisation are ALWAYS just fantastic. It is a pleasure to see everyone.

My cousin Anne and her man (Bruce) just visited us here recently. They have just escaped the traffic and pollution of Sydney and moved here permanently. Like others. They raved about the quality of Sunshine Social - “The coffee is just as good as the best in Sydney”. I said - “that’s why we go there”.

But also -

I said to Bruce, who is a very talented and distinguished chap, where else can you get such informed “wisdom” every day just for the cost of a fabulous extra hot cappuccino or even an iced coffee with lots of ice cream on a hot day. It is much cheaper than the Melbourne Club You don't need a Chairman's Lounge Card. It even lets women and dogs in free, and you do not have to be recommended by anyone important or famous like an unemployable politican or budding capitalist.

Look at all the most recent reviews – well done guys.

Also, see the photo of my coffee the other day - just an amazing work of...

Attended on the basis of this being a "dog friendly breakfast cafe with good coffee" - could not be further from the truth. Firstly they do not serve food, they have a couple of slice and biscuit options on display. As for being dog friendly - our French Bulldog was at risk of overheating as it was a 31 degree day, we allowed him to lay on the cool tiles by the entrance on a lead but still we were asked to take him out to the hot non-shaded deck whereby the only water bowl was dry and empty and despite pointing this out to staff nothing was done - we filled it ourselves prior to leaving. Finally - despite ordering takeaway we waited 21 minutes for 1 mediocre coffee and 1 incorrect iced coffee - all in all a complete dissapointment and...

Disorganised and rude.

One of the 4 staff (behind the counter) tried to 'check in' a customer. The customer advised the staff member that they'd already checked in ... the staff member continued trying to check this customer in, while a large group waited about 10 - 15 minutes.

Possibly dedicate one staff member to 'checking in' customers (if assistance is required) and another staff member could take orders from those that have their check in and green tick ready ... instead of rudely ignoring all other customers while a staff member tries to 'check in' a customer who has already checked in!! Dangerous also to have a big group of people all clumped together waiting to be served - some sensible logic needs...

Sunshine Social is something else! Their organic blend is my personal favourite. It’s balanced and the perfect blend. SS is my go to for coffee out, a relaxed place to meet friends, for coffee beans. SS recently helped us in our @modernminds.com.au event and they were professional, generous & were the first person to arrive to the event! SS = 10 ✨

After a walk at the Noosa National Park, this Sunshine SocialCafe is the perfect place to relax and have a cup of good coffee. Unfortunately the kitchen is closed (food sold out) and only the pastries are available. Bought the Chocolate Chia Oat and Berry tart - the oat was a bit odd for me but the tart is good. Enjoy the vibe!
