Stunning Design. I love the Cherry Blossom Tree and the decorated walls. Lovely interior. Needs to be larger as noisy. Smoking room needs artwork as is very plain. Seating is nice. Is noisy on a Friday on members draw. Very crowded, not enough seats. Needs a courtesy bus. Staff lovely. My meal was terrible very small and served with no option of salad unless you pay for it separate. I had fresh Mahi Mahi. The fish was a little overcooked and dry. The herb aoli was nice. I had to ask for lemon as it did not come out with it. Bottles of cold water lovely and chilled. Dessert, I had the Rhubarb and macadamia tart. Was terrible. Too dry to cut with a spoon. I needed a knife for it. I suggest that they get a better cake, tart cook. The coconut ice cream served with it was divine. Very tasty. Chai latte's in gaming area, very nice, however, no option of honey. Menu needs more selection of cakes, desserts. Personally, I think that meals were way too overpriced. The restaurant was very crowded on a Friday lunch. I don't like the traffic noise on the verandah's at sports Bar and think it needs glass closing in to stop noise. No nice views from here except inside where I compliment the decor. Free soft drinks and coffee in gaming room, "Great." Machines say, "free nibbles every hour." However, I was not offered any on 3 occasions where I stayed for 4 hrs or more. You have to ask for these. I think the nibbles should be placed on the bar where people can help themselves as these are very standard snacks. Cheese and crackers as well as hot nibbles like some other pubs...

When entering the dinning area we were pleasantly impressed with the openess and beautiful overall presentation. We dinned inside, having a view over the terrace (outdoor dining) to the lovely views beyond. Unfortunately the area we were sitting was quite noisy- not conducive for our table conversation ( the ambient noise was overwhelming- quite poor acoustics) and the tables were too close to each other making it difficult to move in and our of your seat, as the chairs, though very comfortable, take up a lot of room. The service was very average. The wait for the order to come was too slow and when there were no spoons served with coffee, and a staff member was asked if we could have some, never turned up. The food had a mixed response from the family. The fish from the specials menu was good value and was very tasty, but the chicken burger had a strange minty taste (the recipent said it tasted like toothpaste and was disappointed that the chips were cold too) which spoiled it for him. The children's meals were pretty disappointing for the price. The veggie version was supposed to have guacamole but it was missing 😔and the beetroot hummus wasn't even touched. Such a shame that the food and service wasn't up to the standard that a beautiful hotel would you expect to have. I would hope that these issues would be remedied as I would love to come...

Very bad attitude from manager on resturant floor. Junior staff not sure on what they are doing. Flies are horrendious. Meals cold and not worth the money at all. Salad on meal only included a bunch of 4 leaf and sliced cucumber?? Drinks we wanted were not on the app but got told to go to the bar and get it our self?? Certain drinks were told to go to sports bar or pokie room to get? We pay for tabel service if we have to go get our drinks drop the prices you over charge on meals n drinks to cover this tabel service you pay your employees to do. Really dissappointed in this new venue. If there was no gaming room i dont think this place would be around much longer. Chefs looked busy but one of them assume head chef has a problem with customers all we got the whole visit was death stares and looks as if we and others dining were a problem? If thats the case i highly recommend him to find another job or go to a kitchen that isnt open. Pizzas are a joke and taste like frozen pack you get from coles. Fish & chips looked like the battered fish again you get in boxes. Fish was very over cooked and dry. Chips are soggy n oil needs changing. Eye fillet was over cooked n very tough , our oysters tasted off and not fresh. Noise level is real bad inside. Chairs not comfortable and tabel...
