I recently had the opportunity to visit the Bli Bli Watersports Complex, and overall, I had a great experience. The complex offers a range of activities and the staff were friendly and accommodating.
One of the highlights of my visit was the variety of activities available. Whether you're into wakeboarding, water skiing, or simply enjoying a day at the aqua park, there's something for everyone. The complex is well-equipped with all the necessary gear, and the facilities are well-maintained. I particularly enjoyed the aqua park, as it provided a fun and exciting challenge for both kids and adults alike.
The staff at Bli Bli Watersports Complex were exceptional. They were knowledgeable about the activities and always willing to assist. They provided clear instructions and safety guidelines, which made me feel comfortable and confident while trying out the different water sports. Their friendly and approachable demeanor created a welcoming atmosphere, adding to the overall enjoyment of the experience.
Additionally, I found the pricing at Bli Bli Watersports Complex to be reasonable. Considering the range of activities and the quality of the facilities, the cost of admission and rental fees were fair. The complex also offers various packages and deals, catering to different budgets and preferences.
One area that could be improved is the availability of shaded areas. Although there are shaded spots in certain areas, it would be beneficial to have more shaded options, especially for those who prefer to take a break from the sun.
In conclusion, my experience at the Bli Bli Watersports Complex was positive. The wide range of activities available, combined with the friendly and knowledgeable staff, made for an enjoyable visit. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced water sports enthusiast, this complex has something to offer. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun day out...
Read moreNot only is the wake section a massive safety risk, but the attitude of some of the staff is just terrible.
Children who utilise the wake section are left to fall off in the lake with no lifeguards or assistance. They are expected to walk all the way back, which we timed as 17 minutes from mid way, which cuts into their activity time.
All the while TWO buggies are actively driving around the lake ignoring them falling and dragging boards back . One staff member in a buggy saw a child fall off, spoke to them and then drove off! When questioning questioning the time walking back takes off the activity time, you get scoffed at, and told it's "maybe 8 minutes walk' - for a child lugging a heavy wake board back from furtherest point of the Lake.
Throughout the 3 hour visit all we saw was younger staff largely ignoring customers, too busy chatting to each other or to other obviously known patrons.
The young blonde girl on duty at the booking desk was so arrogant and dismissive at explaining costs and risks. She was then incredibly rude to a delivery driver while we were present . She then moved to the entry of the inflatables where she gave absolutely no supervision or direction to kids entering.
The only decent staff member to deal with was an older guy who came on duty later at the wake section.
Management of this venue need to do a serious review of their staff and teach the basics of customer service and safety. More urgently, they need to do a full safety assessment of the wake section. Disappointed and very concerned after our experience today. Would definitely not...
Read moreThis place is the equivalent to Disneyland for my son! We had one day booked for everything - wakeboarding, fishing and Aqua park. He loved it so much and wanted more time for everything again, we returned for another full day (he would have loved another day, but our holiday was ending). He caught a big Barra and was thrillled. It was the best fish he had ever caught! The staff at the Barra lake were welcoming and supportive when you needed help. The aqua park had so many areas to explore, it was massive! My son had never done any wakeboarding before, by the end of his second hour in his first session he could go all around the whole back lake and corner. The next visit he was on a trick board and jumping the ramps on the back lake. A huge thank you to the staff on the back lake (a lady and man with a broken foot) I apologise I don’t know their names and there maybe were more staff, we were there 12 -2, Tuesday 21st and Thursday 23rd, 1-3 and another session 4-5. Particularly the lady, she was so helpful, they all gave so much advice and coaching. They were so positive with the children and encouraging. Every turn they gave a tip or demonstrated advice, without those staff constantly helping and making the children feel they would get it, it could have been a completely different experience. I did express to them how grateful I was. It was the best part of my son’s holiday and we are already hoping to return in June, my son really wants to progress his skills in wakeboarding and in Adelaide we don’t have anything like this. Catching another Barra would be a...
