where’s my sauce??? went here for dinner, food was alright. staff though….? nah, not really. my family’s food got served by this girl who honestly looked like she was in her mid 20s, disgusting attitude though, which makes me think she’s actually a 12 year old posing as a 20-something year old

anyways, back to my sauce story. this chick bought our food out and one of our members asked for some tomato sauce. she stomped back to our table, tossed two tiny squeezey sauce packets onto the table and left. not only was the two packets not enough to put on the meal, but they looked watery and mouldy…

after seeing this, my mother went back up to the bar counter and kindly asked for sauce in a little tub, not the packets (as they were mouldy) this same lady just happened to be the one to serve my poor mother and rudely responded with “i just brought you sauce. you don’t need more” my mother told her about the packets she gave us and the chick said that it would cost us money. of course that doesn’t matter to us at this point in time, because we just want the sauce. at this point, my mother (absolutely disgusted and appalled at this lady’s customer service) just left after feeling humiliated by this horrid server my mother came back to the table told everyone else what happened and also mentioned that the bar smelt like rotten fruits??? we finished our meals in silence, still no mention or sight of the sauce, but each of us counting the amount of death stares we received from this “server” each time she passed by us. i personally counted 11

Some friends and I were exploring various mountain bike trails on the sunshine coast and were planning to camp in the area for an evening. Due to an unexpected weather system that moved in we decided to spend the night in a more stable environment. We were accommodated by the Yandina Hotel team at the last minute without prior reservation. What a lucky find it was! The accommodation was fantastic with all amenities in great condition and a massive balcony off our bedroom. The pub and restaurant is conveniently located on ground level below the rooms, complete with a pool table and gaming room. The drinks and food are cheap and the quality was simply incredible!! The cherry on top for me was the astoundingly high level of customer service that we received from both of the Managers (Keith & Zoe) From arrival to departure they went above and beyond to ensure that our every need was attended to in a very friendly and professional manner. They are also happy to accommodate group bookings and functions. I have stayed in many places all across Australia, but given the choice, this is where I'd be!

Pulled in here one night looking for a meal. For a hotel in a small-ish area, quite surprised by what was found. Modern, clean, well-lit facilities and neat, polite and helpful staff. We visited mid winter however the area was comfortably warm. Started with drinks from the bar which did not disappoint (you’d be surprised with the variety offered between venues when asking for a simple vodka, tonic and lime and a whiskey and dry). The restaurant area has plenty of tables and staff offered to move seating arrangement should we not fancy any available. As it wasn’t a full house we took a table already on offer. There isn’t table service however the venue is small enough it’s a short walk away. Food is paid for on ordering at the bar. Meals arrived much quicker than expected, brought to the table by staff. The mixed grill was a solid carnivores meal, well cooked and presented. The ribs were good enough someone immediately developed ‘order envy’. The pork belly was disappointing, dry and flavourless but was somewhat redeemed by the apple chutney and seasonal veg. Overall, a pleasantly good find for a...
