I was there on Thursday the 6th of May for a coffee date with my partner. I was beautifully served by a new young lady who seemed to be on her first shift as she was still learning the till, we received great customer service by her. While we were eating our meals, we were rudely interrupted by the continuous ringing of the chef bell, meaning a staff needs to collect a plate. We witnessed this young lady (the only waiter on the floor) serving a few gentlemen their foods. She ran over to see what was wrong with the chef, when he then yelled at her and was showing abuse because she gave the wrong plate to the gentle man, she said sorry instantly with a red face as if she was going to cry. She took the plates and swapped them and apologised, as she went back to her duties the chef was constantly staring at her watching every move this women made, looked at her with disgust and was constantly waiting for her to stuff up. A few minutes went by when I watched the chef leave the kitchen to tell the girl to come outside, they both went out side for about 1min until the both came back inside, the young lady said something to him (I assume it was her standing up for herself) and he turned around in front of everyone and point at her and repeated STOP IT, 3 times. The way this man was looking and dominating this young young women made me feel psychically sick. He constantly was getting angry every time she made a minor mistake, he was constantly staring at her showing as if he owns her. I have never felt more sick at a restraunt in my life. After that incident the young lady walked out and I did not see her walk back in, I hope she walked out and quit. This chef should not be treating staff this way. I understand it’s frustrating Having a new team member but in no way should she be treated like that, she Defiently looked under the age of 18. Please look into this incident as I would hate for my child or any other young women to get a job there and get treated like that. Other than that,...
Read moreFirst visit - staff were obviously uninterested in their jobs or maintaining a good level of customer service. Table was dirty and had to ask to be wiped, the wrong meal was made but we said it didn't matter and we would take it, the chef was lovely and apologetic and even gave us a free meal voucher.
Second visit - lovely service, short wait time and good food. Big difference from our first visit.
Third visit - table was dirty again, customer service was average. When our meals came over and we expressed they was no cutlery on the table the staff member shrugged and moved on, after we waited a while and realized she wasn't going to bother bring us any we then got up and asked near by customers. This is pretty embarrassing and shocking.
Fourth visit - Today, again table was dirty. We were delivered our drinks and chips, not much wait time. Inquired about the iced chocolate as it had no ice cream or cream the lady was like if you wanted it you needed to say that at the counter maybe try asking next time and walked off was very taken aback. If a iced chocolate was just milk and chocolate syrup you would think they would ask at the counter of you wanted a regular/standard iced chocolate with ice cream and cream like it comes everywhere else. Again no cutlery on the table. After waiting over 30 minutes we had to ask about the rest of our food which was only cabinet food and was not even offered a apology. Would not recommend this place, had nice food don't get me wrong but the service is lazy, unprofessional and staff obviously don't care...
Read moreNice looking place and Nice food BUT the service and hospitality needs serious attention. Sorry guys it's really bad. You can tell the staff have not been trained in customer service or hospitality. Girl behind the counter obviously did not want to be there and she seemed short fused and got annoyed when I asked for water from my table after I paid for my order instead of getting it for me she pointed at the fridge and said it's over there in the fridge so i went to get it myself but there was no water in the fridge. I told her theres no water in the fridge and then she said no not in the fridge on the counter. SORRY FOR ASKING. I felt like I was ordering at a maccas Churn and burn. When the food came out the lad placed my plate on the other side of my table instead of in front of me where I was sitting and walked away so I had to get out of my chair and reach across to get it. My partners meal went to the wrong table and was sitting there in front of another client and then he realised and went and brought back to our table. At the end of the day it's the owners responsibility to train their staff on service with a smile and social eticate. Things like checking knives and forks are available on the tables, making sure the clients are happy with their food. Asking questions is there anything else I can get you? Etc etc It's not the staffs fault but the manager or owner to educate the young ones on service because frankly they have no idea and to them its just a...
