Been here a handful of times. Each time expecting to be better than the last. Last time I brought it was in the morning shop had only just opened I ordered combination cashew and was told after I paid if I could wait until the cook arrives as the young one who served me was the only one there. I didn't mind waiting for the cook I went to Coles to go get a drink and come back to sit and wait for my meal I've come back and the young one who served me was cooking my meal alone. The meal tasted ok not much flavour at all and the rice came in a separate container I couldn't mix it altogether as not enough room in the bowl but the veggies were so huge and not chopped I had like a half a Pak Choi still intact. I frequent this joint maybe 2 or 3 times a week. I mostly order 2 or 3 dishes (for two of us) each time and one of the dishes are always the same (Laksa). The usual young fella that takes my order has gotten to know us and the usual dish we order. Every single time, we thoroughly enjoy the meal. The 3rd dish is usually for the missus to take to work the next 2 days for lunch. The service is quick, always tasty, and good value. Came to Good Asian on 2 consecutive nights while staying at the Caravan Park close by. First night, nice meal, Singapore Noodles, plus Combination Cashew Nut. Nice flavours BUT not one cashew in the Combination Cashew dish. HELLO !! Flavour though, saved the day. Tonight, Salt & Pepper Calamari, nice. Second dish Chicken Pad Thai. Now, I love a good Pad Thai, and they are not easy to find, however, this one....no Peanut flavour, replaced by sweet & sour....what a shame, VERY ordinary.
