Rainbow Noodle — Restaurant in Sunshine Coast Regional

I As a mother's Day treat we thought we get some nice take out from Rainbow Noodles. We don't offend have take out but on special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries and even mother's day. When we do we always go to Rainbow Noodles either in Noosa or Coolum. Generally we are pretty satisfied with the meals as well as the cost but not tonight. One of my favourite dish is the cream prawns it wasn't as much creamy but more like gluey tasteless gloop. We also had the sweet and sour combo. Not very much veggies and no sauce. It was almost like tinned spaghetti the special fried rice well there was nothing special about again lacked flavour. Fast food. Not on 8/1/21. Tried to call store for Ph ordering. Busy tone for over 10 minutes. Rang as I entered the store, Ph busy tone again, no one was on the Ph. Clearly staff could not speak enough English to be involved in a Ph order. One customer in store, a few meals cooking. Was told 1hr wait for 2 omelette's. When I repeated this time, the attendant spoke in such a strong accent that I could not understand and changed his timing to ½ hr. Always able to tell you how much your meal cost and take your CASH in an accent you can understand. But not when trying to make up an excuse for slack service. ??? CASH, CASH,CASH. A total waste of money. The spring rolls were not nice, the meat in them may have been off. Did not eat them, they were thrown into the bin. I ordered Tom yum soup, it looked nothing like the picture on the board. I actually make my own tom Yum soup at home and my recipe definitely is 1000% better than this soup. Far too many noodles and only about a half a cup of liquid. This ended up in the bin. My daughter had chicken and cashews, the sauce tasted like it came out of a jar.
