Massive GYG fan here but unfortunately tonight’s drive-thru service left us driving away unhappy. Tonight my husband and I came through drive-thru between 6:30 and 7pm. The line up was pretty long and Cars were backed up to church street. It was finally our turn to order…we ordered 8x $3.00 Tacos, 1x pulled beef burrito bowl with Jalapeños, 2x sides of habanero sauce, a large bottle of coke and a water. We go up to the window to pay where the lady re read out our order and she started off with 1x $3.00 Taco to which we corrected her and said no it was 8x $3.00 Tacos. The young lady then said oh well you will just have to drive back around through drive thru and order the rest of the tacos as I can’t change it on the screen…we said but there is a super long line up and it wasn’t our fault, we did ask for 8 of them, she said there’s nothing we can do and repeated that you’ll just have to go line back up in drive-thru. Now, If this was our fault I would completely understand about going back around as it’s an inconvenience but I can assure you this wasn’t the case. The lady’s voice through the drive speaker was so soft and we even said to here we can hardly here you anyway, We ended up leaving so frustrated and didn’t even bother paying and receiving the rest of the order. Read moreI’ve always loved coming here and even recommended it to friends but after what happened recently, I’m seriously reconsidering. I placed an order through the app, as I’ve done many times before. When I arrived to pick it up, I briefly pulled into the waiting bay and that’s when things took a turn.
A man, who I assume was the manager (grey beard, very authoritative), came up and rudely told me I couldn’t park there because I didn’t use the drive-thru. Excuse me? I ordered through the official app and I am a paying customer. Am I not entitled to the same respect?
He spoke with such an arrogant tone, practically ordering me to move elsewhere like I was a nuisance. I was there for barely two minutes just to collect food I had already paid for. The way he treated me made me feel like my business didn’t matter at all.
This kind of behaviour is unacceptable. Treating customers differently based on how they place an order is not just poor service it’s disrespectful. If this is how regular, loyal customers are treated, maybe it’s time to start spending my money somewhere else.

Read moreCelebrated back to school 2023 with family dinner at GYGM. We had a friend with us too. 2A 3T. We ordered instore on the app 2x mini chicken burrito meals w fries and OJ/AJ each. A cali burrito w side Chipotle sauce. A Spicy pulled pork burrito and a Mini chicken burrito bowl meal on brown rice w fries and sparkling water.
I guess it was a fairly busy night, Saturday about 7.30pm. The kitchen had lots of staff on I would say a good dozen.
A fries was missing from the order. I was given stilled water and not sparkling and my mini chicken bowl didn't have brown rice. We were pretty hungry at this point so we just ate everything as is but asked for our fries which we got.
First time I can recall that our meal had missing items and items we didn't order. Staff are friendly and the premises were clean and tidy. Parking gets a bit tight and congested as not many parks in complex and w two short drive in lanes.
Amenities available although I didn't need to use at the time. Enough seating indoors.
