Hanami — Restaurant in Sunshine Coast Regional

We stumbled across Hanami Japanese during our holidays and it turned out to be an awesome find. We stopped in for lunch and had the lunch bowls, which were absolutely delicious. Everything was so fresh, full of flavour, and really well put together.

The portions were generous and it felt like such a great feed for the price. You could tell a lot of care goes into the food, and the quality really stood out.

The atmosphere was relaxed and the service was friendly and efficient. It’s the kind of place you walk away from feeling satisfied and already thinking about coming back.

Definitely one of the highlights of our trip and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a tasty and authentic...

This is an amazing place on the Main Street of Coolum Beach, the service is great and attentive, the food is absolutely fantastic, I had the sizzling Teriyaki chicken it was like a flavour bomb going off in my mouth, my friend had the Rolled Salmon Sushi Rolls which she raved about, really you couldn’t do better than this anywhere and the prices are so competitive it puts other places to shame. Hanami isn’t licensed so byo drinks for a minimum corkage, the seating outside is pleasant. This place is packed near the end of the week so please book so you won’t be disappointed, wheelchair accessible and a good kids menu try here...

Out and about on a Friday drive and decided to stop at Coolum. Lucky for us this place was still open when others had closed for lunch which was great. We ordered to salmon teriyaki and chicken teriyaki sizzle plates and they were YUMMO! They were both delivered very quickly and we weren’t disappointed. Talk about delicious! The sauce was a favourite and we just needed rice to sop up the leftovers 👍 The outdoor seating area was spacious and some undercover from the sun which was a reprieve on the day.
