We’ve been loads of times for breakfast. Recently the service has been terrible. Twice in a row we’ve had to ask where our coffees are only to find they have lost our check. However today was the worst. Whilst waiting on coffees that took 30 mins despite asking twice and discovering check was lost, a dog ran out to the seating area and did a huge poo. A couple who were about to sit down left, but one girl who had just walked in stood on it.
Appalled, I got up to let the girl know and tell a member of staff. The guy behind the counter laughed and claimed it was his dog and he will pick it up. In that time a waitress stepped on it and had to walk back into the cafe to clean up her boot. Eventually the staff member picked it up with napkins and put it in the bin. Walked back to the kitchen to get a cloth and bowl of soapy water and washed the fake grass. It was disgusting. I’m all for having dogs at a cafe. But when a dog poos in the area and it’s found amusing, then I’m not joining in with this humour. Sadly we won’t be back and I’m pretty sure the people who stepped in it and left when they’d witnessed it, also won’t be back. Sort it out. Tie your dog up. Use a poo bag to pick it up. If you have to have your dog at work with you, then it should be be allowed to roam through the cafe. Improve the service too. Losing a check once isn’t great, but when it happens twice I get the impression it...

We came here on Sunday morning for breakfast to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We ordered an Everything Bagel and a Veggie Stack. After 10 minutes, the bagel arrived, but there was no sign of the veggie stack. I noticed they were busy, so I decided to wait a bit longer. After 30 minutes, I saw that people who came after us were already getting their food, so I asked the waiter about our order. She checked and came back saying that the order hadn’t been put through. I told her if they hadn’t started making it yet, we’d like to cancel. She said okay.
A few minutes later, as I was heading to the counter for a refund, another waiter approached us holding a plate and looked at me. I asked, “Is this ours?” She replied, “Yes,” and simply said, “Sorry about that,” before walking away.
That’s all.
There was no proper explanation, no effort to make amends, and no sense of accountability. In hospitality, service is not just about bringing food to the table. it’s about attention, communication, and care for the customer experience. Unfortunately, none of that was shown today.
We should have canceled the order anyway but we were starving. Everything bagel was simple but delicious in saying that veggie stack was avarage and not enough veggies.
A very disappointing way to start what was meant to be a special morning.
So yeah,...
Read moreToday we left disappointed after spending $130 on breakfast for a group of 4. Just wanting to inform you that some of your staff, in particular this one lady in her early-mid 20's with long brown hair and tattooed arms- is particularly rude. Her tone while serving me was irritable, she was flipping the bird at one of her other colleagues when we arrived which is unprossional to begin with. She proceeded to slam our drinks down on the table, causing them to spill. One of the drinks we ordered was an iced coffee and she must have got our order wrong because the wrong drink was sent out to our table. About 15 minutes later she came out with the iced coffee we had ordered slammed it on the table said "an iced coffee NOT an iced latte" in a frustrated tone to suggest that we had got the order wrong.
All in all, I have worked within many cafe settings in the hospitality industry and know firsthand just how challenging hospitality and customer service can be. However, this employee's approach to dealing with people may warrant reconsideration and it might be beneficial for them to explore professions where polite interactions and communication are not as crucial. I trust that this feedback contributes to the overall reputation of the business and encourages a positive experience for...
