I’ve been a customer of John Kyle Espresso in Maroochydore for the past two years, visiting most days of the week. Here’s why it’s my go-to:

Convenience: The ease of their app is a game-changer. I can place my order as I leave home, and my coffee is ready when I arrive—no waiting around.

The Coffee: My usual is a cappuccino with oat milk and caramel or an iced long black with oat milk and caramel (don’t judge!). The coffee is consistently excellent, and I know I can rely on the quality every single day.

The Team: Matty, Blyth, and the whole crew are always friendly, no matter how busy they are. They create a welcoming atmosphere, making each visit enjoyable.

What Keeps Me Coming Back: • Their commitment to the community. They sponsor Wishlist every year, donating a year’s worth of coffee (which I won one year—amazing!). • They’re active supporters of the Sunshine Coast Young Chamber of Commerce, which resonates with me. • A couple of times, when I was on a call in my car, they even walked my coffee out to me. That level of service is rare! • The coffee is always consistent, and that reliability is important to me. • Their app saves me time in the morning, making my coffee routine seamless. • The owners are young, driven, and passionate, with two locations on the coast, and it’s inspiring to support a business with such great people behind it.

John Kyle Cafe in Maroochydore is an absolute gem!

My daughter, her bridesmaids and I had the pleasure of brunching here before my daughter's bridal fitting down the road, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

The menu is all day breakfast/brunch, featuring everything from refreshing Mimosas and rich Espresso Martinis to delicious Corn Fritters, hearty Breakfast Burritos, and the most scrumptious Granola. Each dish was a treat, reflecting the cafe's commitment to quality and flavor.

What truly sets this place apart is the exceptional staff. They were incredibly kind and helpful, ensuring our visit was memorable from start to finish. Despite the constant buzz of activity, the service was top-notch—attentive and welcoming. They even stored our bottle of champagne for us! Parking on the street is free on Sunday's!

A word to the wise: John Kyle Cafe is always busy, so it's best to make a reservation if you can. And if you're bringing along a furry friend, you'll be pleased to know that dogs are allowed outside. With both indoor and outdoor seating available, there's a perfect spot for everyone. They offer high chairs as well if needed. We can't wait to return and relive the wonderful experience we had. We were up from Toowoomba for a 5-day holiday and ended up going to John Kyle twice for breakfast- it was that good! The food was absolutely amazing, with a menu that had a great variety for everyone without being overwhelming.

The coffee was strong and perfect, just how I like it, and the staff were super friendly-welcoming and attentive without being over the top. The layout and vibe of the place really impressed me too. It has a trendy feel, but still manages to be totally family-friendly, which is such a great balance.
