I tried to order food in the sports bar, I was told this isn’t possible and I need to order at the main restaurant, but I should tell them when ordering I am in the sports bars so they can bring our order. I left the sports bar to order our food, as a result I could no longer watch the sport I can in to watch. When ordering my food I was told they might not bring my food to the sports bar so I should keep an eye on the buzzer they gave me. One of the meals I ordered came with a free drink, after listening to the free drinks options I said I didn’t want the free drink, I was told the order couldn’t be processed without the free drink, I decided to go with a glass of wine. The buzzer started to vibrate, after waiting a couple of minutes, as promised no food arrived, so once again I had to leave the sports bar and miss the game I was watching to collect our starters. On collecting the food I was told I should tell them I was in the sport bar so they could bring our food to us, I mentioned that was done when I ordered, they told me that didn’t come through on the order. Thankfully our main meal was brought to us in the sports bar. When I went to get my free glass of wine in the sports bars I was told I had to go to the main bar to get that. FFS, this is the most disjointed place I have ever been to. One of the staff members asked how our evening and meal was, I gave her so feedback and I got the impression she couldn’t care less. The food had way too much salt, to the point half of it was left. You should change your ordering system so you can order food at any of your bars, and if you offer a free drink make it available at...

New... Refer attached photos of 'before' dance bands cancellation ( including short video ) and 'after' dance bands cancellation. Both photos taken at about 8.30pm Sunday evenings.

Extremely disappointed with the attitude of Maroochy RSL CEO and Management Team. They have stopped the very popular sunday evening dance bands that had been performing for over 20 years. Instead they are providing dinner or background music only. Over 70 club members wrote to the CEO via email, and he has not had the courtesy to reply or return numerous phone calls. These sunday evenings had provided both physical and mental benefits to mainly mature age club members. It was also a great social opportunity to meet up with like-minded friends. These sundays were much more than just a dance evening.

Re owners Reply..... Soloists on a stool playing slow ballards does not constitute dance music. ( we were also told there would still be duos playing on sundays - but that has not happened ). The sunday bands were NOT too loud - it was difficult to even hear them half way back in the room from the stage.. The noise in the area was coming from over 100 patrons just chatting and enjoying themselves !! Also the band noise level was regularly checked throughout the evening by security staff. Almost all tables in front of the stage area, were regularly booked by dancers wanting to be near the band, so the apparent "feedback from diners" reason doesn't seem logical. There is also plenty of dining space adjacent, - which provides quieter dining if required. The CEO still has not...

The establishment is very nice and I have quite enjoyed eating there most nights a week for the past 6 weeks and we have never had to show ID or sign in. Bar prices are reasonable and so are menu prices and servings. However tonight (11/04/2019) when I tried to enter I was greeted by a very condescending security guard who had a go at me for because someone I walked in with upset him. I had told the person I walked in with that we should just sign in and play the game, then while I was trying to sign in the security guard started slagging off at me because the person I walked in with was rude lecturing me on respecting him when to that point I had done nothing wrong. This was very unprofessional and frankly ruined my night, until this point I'd have given this place 5 starts but this guy was way out of line and the manager did nothing but defend his actions. I'm sure if you're a local you will be fine but after tonight I won't be going back and if you're from out of town I'd recommend to steer clear and eat anywhere else. I have also been accused of abusing the receptionist which is completely untrue I didn't even look at her. I hope the management has the decency to pass on that I am deeply sorry that she thought I was speaking to her, I was not and I feel terrible for ruining her night. I didn't say a word to her and I wouldn't have been nasty to her, she was helpful and attempted to sign me in while the security guard was mouthing off at me. Absolutely ruined my night, security guard needs to pull his head...

This is a perfect venue for a family get together for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It's spacious, can take large groups, there is good variety on the menu, prices are good value, the food is fresh and tasty, and the service is exceptional. There is a relaxed casual vibe and staff make you feel at home. The main person looking after us was Mel, and she went above and beyond to make our experience great. There's free undercover parking directly opposite the club, making it very convenient. I visited for Sunday lunch with a large group and it wasn't very busy at the time. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I had the fish and chips, which was locally caught dory that was super fresh and delicious and the chips were thick and perfectly cooked. Highly recommended for a casual club style experience.

Went to lunch there. Place is nicely done up. The lady at the front reception was lovely & friendly. Went to bistro and hello the girls that were waitresses very miserable, the young gentleman very helpful. On upon ordering our food well what could I say. I had roast pork my gosh. My pumkin, looked like it was cooked the day before just like the pork dry and hard. Vegies where cold and looked like it was slapped onto the plate. My partner had a chicken burger, well they used a hole bottle of Mayo. Salt and pepper calamari very salty that your mouth puckered. Not a nice experience. Looking at photo from other review looked impressive but not ours.
