Patrón Coffee — Restaurant in Sunshine Coast Regional

We arrived at the restaurant and were informed within 10 minutes that we needed to place our orders then because the kitchen was closing. We quickly placed our orders and waited for about 20 minutes. When our food arrived, piping hot, the staff started bringing in furniture, signs, and sweeping the floors to prepare for closing.

The food was decent, but my partner’s burger was bland. Our drinks were good, but we felt rushed out of the restaurant and struggled to eat the hot food quickly. It would have been better if they had simply informed us that they could only accommodate takeout orders at that time. Additionally, there were flies buzzing around us. Checked online and they were meant to close at 11am but took our order well after this time. Also turned off some lights while we ate.

The food & coffee here is good. Unfortunately I made the mistake of getting back in the queue to order takeaway breaky wraps on a busy Sunday morning. This took over 40 min without any communication. What was frustrating is that dine in customers that ordered 20min later than me recieved their food before me. I felt like I had been put on the backburner. Despite this the food was great, might have been a bad day to drop in. Decor is clean & monotone albeit a feature wall of lovely woven baskets. ACCESS🧑🏼‍🦼Wide open door access & sealed footpaths to the cafe. Indoor & outdoor seating that could accommodate space for mobility equipment. I do not know where the nearest all abilities parking is. Great burgers. A man size beef burger on a great sized bun. Bun was terrific not a soft soggy bun but a bun with substance. Crispy top. The beef patty was large & cooked perfectly. No blood ! It had everything on it. An egg, cheese, onions, beetroot, nothing missing. As burgers go .. a 5 star. My companion had the chicken burger & it came on a large bun also. Chicken was not skimped on either. A man size meal. The coffee was great. No complaints at all. This looks like a family run place & has an eclectic atmosphere, comfortable , not slick . Locals came & went picking up take out while we were there. Didn’t try any of the deserts it but looked a good range to choose from..I would highly...
