I was genuinely surprised to find RIBA KAI nestled in what seemed like an ordinary industrial estate—what a hidden gem!

The food selection is fantastic, and the prices are reasonable given the taste, texture, quality, and portion sizes on offer. I had a challenging time trying to decide what to order when, lo and behold, I saw a fellow patron with dishes I just HAD to have... they were super delish!

They house roast their coffee beans so you can try a drink before you buy a bag or two to take with you!

I also noticed that locals can bring their beloved dogs to the outdoor seating, so feel free to bring your furry friend along!

While the service can be a bit confusing for first-time visitors, it's important to note that it's table service, and you'll receive one bill to pay at the end of your visit. Note: surcharge with all card payments.

Parking can be an issue, but depending on when you visit, there are both onsite and street parking options available.

Just a heads-up: be careful when entering through the sliding door, as I, along with several others, almost tripped at the threshold.

Overall, a...

29th Dec 2024 Back again, all the way from the Gold Coast, and it’s always worth the trip! The service and food here are exceptional, and you can see the pride and artistry in every dish. The presentation is flawless, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere is something truly special. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with immediate attention and, as a repeat customer, a friendly smile that makes you feel right at home. The same genuine care is shown when you leave – it’s classic, traditional service at its best. Thank you, Kylie! We hope to return again, hopefully before next Christmas.

2023 What can can not say enough highly. I mean, it was like heaven for us coming down from Gold Coast. Excellent food, great atmosphere and very reasonable price. It was packed! At 8am. Do yourself a favour and try Riba Kai. Its the best we...

Riba Kai is a stylish, spacious cafe, tucked away in an unusual setting. There is ample seating, both indoors and out, although parking is somewhat limited.

Our party of 4 all enjoyed the assortment of meals and drinks. The service was prompt and friendly, the food was well presented and high quality, and the prices were reasonable.

A special thanks to the waitress who prepared our desserts. My wife ordered a few different options and explained they'd be shared amongst the group. This thoughtful lady took it upon herself to slice them all into smaller servings and present them on a long plate, allowing us to all grab a bit of everything. It worked really well and made it seem as if we had much more than actually ordered.

We initially booked our visit at random, based on the positive reviews. The decision was a good one and we all...

Had a breakfast meeting there this morning. The staff were polite, the food and drinks were great, the atmosphere is relaxing, the fitout looks fantastic, there was a decent amount of parking and plenty of space. Was a bit cold today, so they rolled out those gas heaters and even provided blankets too, which I thought was a great touch. Well worth checking these guys out - they've put a boatload of effort into the set up and it's really paid off for them. They've also got a conference room and coffee roaster out the back, which is a pretty cool little extra as well.
