Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Sunshine Coast Regional

This store doesn’t even deserve a 1 star rating, my pizza order was delivered 30 mins late with no communication. I tried to call the store whilst waiting for the pizza and an automated message said “the phone lines aren’t working”. When my pizza order was eventually delivered they were cold and garbage, I requested for the manager to call me regarding this and when he did he was EXTREMELY RUDE! and told me I was a liar. He refused to refund my unsatisfactory order and provided no resolution other than to argue on the phone. Further after the first call, he called me AGAIN but this time on a no caller ID and stated to me that “food isn’t free” and that “it is okay” over and over again when clearly it wasn’t okay and why I was complaining. I told him I had a guarantee under consumer law for him to provide me a satisfactory service and to provide some sort of remedy to my issue, so he then said he would refund me but I was EXPECTED to bring all of the order back to the store. When I asked for his name he refused to give me it and stated it was “manager”! He continued to try and call me and I had to block the number as this has left me very distressed and unsettled. This person is representing Pizza Hut in a very poor manner and I am considering taking this further to the ACCC. There are multiple other reviews similar to my issue with this store and it appears Pizza Hut do NOTHING about this. I have contacted Pizza Hut via the contact us form providing the same information as above. Something needs to be done about this as the “manager” of this store has absolutely no customer service skills and doesn’t care about the customer at all, the only thing he cares about is the MONEY clearly!!! Bad ... Took 1 hour 20 minutes to arrive then arrived cold ... Delivery driver had poor attitude ... Phoned twice to check where the pizza was ... Rang again to advise disappointment at cold pizzas that night when they finally arrived and was told to call back and speak to Manager tomorrow as he was not in ... Long story short after two more follow up calls finally caught up with Manager to be told I rang too late and I should/must ring on the day ... Also Manager insinuated I was lieing about the time it took as he was there that night and they were very quiet ... I recall it was State Of Origin night and the girl who took my order advised me they had just received a $300 order? So whose the dishonest one here!! Used to take our kids to Pizza Hut restaurants years ago, have not been there again until recently. Impressed with the pan pizzas which have a crisp base and edges surrounding a fluffy interior. Still sparing with the toppings but very tasty. Our choices tend to be garlic prawns with chilli and extra spicy vegetarian. While there are a couple of outdoor tables for eating on the spot there is an added bonus at Maude St, which is a well-tended public park immediately behind the complex with a small playground and barbeque as well as 3 undercover spots with seating for eating,...
