As out-of-towners, passing through the area, we googled 'take away food in Nambour'. After reading the google reviews of Silver Phoenix, we decided to try this Chinese restaurant. Without out a shadow of a doubt THE BEST Chinese we have eaten in years. The dims sims, freshly made and cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside, full of flavour on the inside. Curry combination and garlic combination, so full of flavours and beautiful fresh vegies... and the meats.... so tender and plenty of them. Even a 1 star is too much. We have loved the Silver Phoenix food for many many years, and tonight we had a terrible experience. We ordered at 5.30pmand only at just after 7 was able to get out actual order. The young staff member gave our order to another person, and the resolution for us was to take their order! We asked for our order to be cooked for us, and then told by the female owner it was our fault! She was rude and completely threw her young staff member under the bus! What a disgrace! Very very disappointed. And a customer lost due to POOR...

I consider myself something of a Chinese food connoisseur. This is one of the better chinese food places on the Sunshine Coast - am a regular customer and the food is always top notch. And the home-made dim sims are simply amazing. And the special fried rice is awesome too, though there could be a little more bbq pork in it.

Service is usually very good, though can be a little hit & miss at times depending who you get. Take note that this restaurant can get very busy, especially on weekends, so get your order in...
