Beautiful place to be near a park. They are getting worse. I left a review a few months ago giving 1 star, but now, they don't even deserve that. They were bad the 1st time, but I thought ok, they were busy, give them another chance. What a mistake that is. There are better coffee clubs over the road near the traffic lights. Wondering if they even read reviews because they need to get their act together. About 2 weeks ago, my friend and I met up. The place was not busy, about half full. We had to clean our table where sat dozen dirty dishes and flies hung around. My friend ordered calamari and chips ($22.95). We also ordered drinks. The drinks came within 5 minutes but nearly an hour wait for food. The food came out and the calamari was chewy. We complained so they offered to recook. While waiting for her food, the female service worker (new girl, who was very nice, unlike the rest), gave my friend a refund. They come out and tell us they cannot cook calamari was my friend happy to have fish instead (whiting). She agreed. So, fish and chips and salad and they were a generous portion come out, and even the fish wasn't the greatest. I then left, and my friend went to follow me out. She thanked the male, who said hey you have to pay for the fish and chips. ($24.95). I understand she has to pay for a meal, but should have been charged for what she ordered - calamari and chips. The time before when I left 1 star review, I ordered an iced caramel and ended up with strong iced coffee. Their caramel cheesecake, however, is delicious and reasonably priced ($7.95). Went to the coffee club this morning and ordered two meals with drinks. Our drinks and food didn't arrive for at least an hour, which the waiter explained as it was really busy at that time, which is understandable. One of our meals that we ordered was the veggie flat grill, which usually is a favourite of mine, but today I received raw and uncooked sweet potato and over cooked chips. We didn't mention our concerns at the time of receiving the meal, as we didn't want to wait another hour for them to remake it and my partner and I wanted to eat together. When we went to pay, I raised my concerns with one of the servers and she got another lady Jess to talk to us, to which we were very taken back by her demeanor and rudeness. She began to lecture us with with her arms crossed about how we should have taken the meal up to the counter straight away for them to remake it, however I explained that we had other places to be and she stated "well what do you want me to do about it then, they cook it as a whole and sometimes it doesn't cook all the way through or evenly" which is absolutely absurd as I have never had this happen and I have ordered this meal many times. This must mean they have no regard for quality control, which is disappointing. Won't be going back to this kind of service or raw food anytime soon. Waited 10 minutes to be served and still noone came over to my table. The young male supervisor was looking through his phone which was on charge on the counter then grabbed his water bottle and disappeared out the back. The young blonde waitress also thought being out the back was a good idea and disappeared aswell. Young male supervisor then returned to the counter where he decided to have a yarn with the girl making the coffees while people were waiting at the till to pay for their table. Not once did he look in my direction which was right infront of the counter (you couldn't miss me). The couple at the till eventually got served and left and he then went out to run drinks. Came back after delivering them had another drink and yarn then went to run more drinks by this time the young waitress had returned also made her way behind the counter. I came to the conclusion I was never going to get my coffee or breakfast that I wanted to order so I got up and walked out. I was not the only table that did so. The staff at this coffee club (apart from 1 older lady who is just amazing, sadly she wasn't there today) really need a training course on observation and customer service. Table service should be removed and order at the counter should be in place, otherwise you will be sitting there forever. If your willing to wait take a book it...
