I ordered 2 takeaway prawn meals at 6.05pm for delivery by Door Dash - the only home delivery option on the Thai Frenzy website - the other is pick up yourself, which I usually do but tonight I was looking forward to home delivery after another super busy day. When I placed the online order, it was indicated this would take 46--60 minutes - no problem I thought. I checked the tracking after 1 hour and the Thai Frenzy order site showed my order had been prepared but no indication of pickup by Door Dash. I checked the Door Dash site several times and each time the message was âWhoops! Thereâs been an errorâ although I had entered all my information correctly. I phoned Thai Frenzy twice - the first time I was advised that Door Dash was running late; the second time I was advised the order remained uncollected and maybe there was no-one for Door Dash available in the area and to phone Door Dash, which I did to no avail - I waited on the phone for 10 minutes after being put on hold by a bot. By now it was 7.35pm and Thai Frenzy closes at 8pm. I phoned Thai Frenzy again (3rd time) and said it didnât look like Door Dash was going to pick up and deliver so Iâd pick up myself and when I did 12 minutes later, I was advised to âhave a good nightâ. I told Thai Frenzy they shouldnât use a service that not only lets their customers down, but also tarnishes the reputation of Thai Frenzy especially when they boss told me he suggests to customers to arrange delivery through Uber - I told the boss thatâs not listed as option on the Thai Frenzy website. Iâve been a customer of Thai Frenzy for many years but that ends now - there was a no care attitude about my order not being picked up and if I hadnât phoned I would not have got my food but still charged $75!    Read moreIâve ordered here a few times and the food is decent, but expensive for what it is. Unfortunately my stove isnât working at the moment which is why I ordered out!! But I have ordered here because its local. Tonight I placed an online order, so what I ordered wasnât in question. I ordered an entree and a main. But somehow they got it wrong and I was given two entrees. The second entree is a dish I donât like (chicken satay skewers). I called to say the order was wrong and while I was given a credit, I wasnât given an apology. I just had to listen to the owner complain about his staff being young and not adults and mistakes happen. So I didnât get the food I ordered and itâs late on a Friday night and my stove doesnât work. No commiserations were offered! Once Iâve used up my credit I wonât be ordering here again.

What could you do? You could fix your process to reduce mistakes. When I made a simple suggestion about how you could fix your process you didnât even say yes, we should fix the process.
What else can you do? I want my money back. I donât want a credit anymore. Your self serving attitude here is not a good look. I hope you had a nice dinner because I sure didnât.    Read moreThis is the second year that Thai Frenzy has provided the evening meal for the Strings Eisteddfod volunteers, Convenor & adjudicator and again they have gone above and beyond. We were booked for 7:30 dinner and the awards ran over by an hour due to the Covid restrictions and Thai Frenzy closes at 8:30! I rang Gareth and he told me it was not a problem as he and a few of his staff would stay back to accomodate us. We rang as we were leaving our venue and the entreeâs were almost on the table as we arrived right on 8:25 with the rest of the courses following as each dish was finished. I didnât specify any dishes, just told Gareth that there were no dietary issues and the number of guests he was catering for and that I would trust his Judgement. The adjudicator and such volunteers who were not with us last year were in raptures over the dining choices (no surprises there).
