Upon arrival my family and I were greeted with bright smiles and welcoming energy. The restaurant is at the perfect temperature for a hot summers day and the Hindu music really set the atmosphere. We were instantly provided with both dine in and drinks menus as well as chilled water by a kind waitress.
We were left to look over the menus and chat amongst ourselves while the staff worked peacefully as to not disturb us. The artwork on the walls and layout of the tables was beautiful and really made the place feel like a slice of India in Australia.
When we were ready, our order was taken by another lovely member of the wait staff. With a warm smile and a knowledgeable perspective of the large menu, we ordered things we had never tried before.
While eating for our food I saw the staff working tirelessly to service other tables and bring out takeaway orders. To do all of this while still remaining respectful, understanding, and positive is truly a remarkable feat.
When our food came out we were blown away by the presentation and flavour quality. The perfect portion sizes and powerful flavour gave us a taste of India that nowhere else on the Coast has ever done. Everything was cooked to perfection and the wait staff came to check and ensure we received all our food and was enjoying our meal.
My kids loved the food as the mild spice was perfect for their little tongues. My wife loved the hot and vegan options, the style the food was presented made it easy to share with the whole family.
I can confidently say that this restaurant is the best Indian on the Coast and is criminally underrated. The service was perfect, the staff were lovely and granted everything wish we wanted like genies, and the food was to die for.

Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Chingaari Indian Restaurant and was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional food and dining experience. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, setting the stage for a delightful meal.
The menu boasted a variety of tantalizing dishes, but the standout stars were undoubtedly the Goat Pasanda and Goat Khorma. Both dishes were bursting with flavor, expertly spiced, and cooked to perfection. Each bite was a harmonious blend of spices and tender meat, leaving me craving more.
The Chicken Madras was another highlight, offering a perfect balance of heat and flavor that danced on my taste buds. Accompanied by the Kashmiri Naan, which was pillowy soft with a delightful sweetness, it was a match made in culinary heaven.
Behind these culinary masterpieces is a chef of remarkable talent and skill. Their dedication to crafting exquisite dishes is evident in every bite, and I applaud their creativity and expertise. Additionally, the owner's passion for delivering an exceptional dining experience shines through in every aspect of the restaurant, from the warm hospitality to the attention to detail.

Read moreFor a small localy owned place the food at the Chingaari restaurant was amazing (and I've been to India!). By far some of the best Indian food we have had in Australia and certainly going back. We eat a lot of Indian and so like to think we have some experience in this area.
We have found that some of the other restaurants we have tried in the past might make dishes slightly to watery or sparse on meat pieces but at the Chingaari Indian Restaurant is was all perfect. They were also able to adjust the spice perfectly to accommodate our (fussy) children.
We were nicely surprised to see how busy it was for a Tuesday night too and so would suggest booking if you are planning on going on a Friday night or weekend so you don’t miss out. So...
