Milans Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Sunshine Coast Regional

We arrived in Buderim after a long day of travelling, wanting to just relax and enjoy some quiet nourishment, without fuss. Not being too sure where to head, we decided to give Milan's a try and immediately felt pleased to have done so. We were greeted with genuine warmth. Menu was appealing, and we were pleasantly surprised at the size and presentation of the lasagne, which was fresh, delicious and piping hot, with a very cute and crisp side salad. My husband also enjoyed his chicken carbonara, which was generous in size and summed up by him as "delicious". The staff were attentive and kind, and we had enough of both dishes, plus the very tasty cheese/garlic accompaniment to take home for lunch tomorrow. We initially sat outside, but it got a little chilly and there was no issue with us relocating inside.

We are particular about our pasta! And have no hesitation in...

unfortunately disagree with most of the reviews...had dinner at Milans Friday night 26th august....meal was very ordinary hence asking for salt to try improve flavour...there was four of us and 3 ordered chicken carbonara and 1 ordered spag meatballs....didn't finish mine so my husband ate it( he was the one who had spag meatballs)...3 oclock that morning violent sickness, vomiting and diarrhoea......found out later that the other couple were sick as well.....rang Milans who didn't seem too concerned and only offered a lukewarm apology....will never return.....I hope they realize eventually how serious food poisoning is...am in two minds whether...

Absolutely disgusting. I didn’t know authentic Italian was dolmio past sauce from Woolworths and not home made pasta pasta from a packet!. How can the new owners tarnish a beautiful restaurant that was the best on the Sunshine Coast. Our garlic cheese pizza was pita bread base with garlic paste on top and no cheese. Not to mention the Woolworths packet pasta and dolmio pasta sauce. I wish the old owners would come back. Don’t waste your money on terrible food and service. Need to change the name asap it isn’t Milan’s run by an Italian family. It’s workers from the website wish.
