Do not recommend. Our table ordered the cheese plate where one of the cheese’s had mould on it. The restaurant manager through the waitress tried to state that particular cheese has mould on it however our table stated that cheese should not have mould growing on it, particularly when a 2 year old could have eaten it. The cheese platter was removed off the bill due to this, indicating that the cheese was mouldy and not fit to be served to customers. Furthermore, since eating my The Dock Fish and Chips, I have experienced food poisoning. A few on the table ordered the same meal as myself, with one person stating that their fish was not fully cooked. Furthermore, when you order a meal with a salad, no one wants a lettuce salad. Add tomatoes and cucumber as we are not rabbits. Will not be returning for the quality of the food, particularly as the restaurant cannot meet food safety regulations.

EDIT in response to REPLY: This was my honest review for this business, who have continued to make themselves look like absolute clowns with their response.

The owner of the Dock portrays any of their customers that give them a one star review in a negative light in order to try to make themselves look like they were not in the wrong. No one yelled at the table or screamed, we are not animals. If you cannot differentiate between a customer calling out to a waitress to get her attention to discuss the issue and ‘screaming’ or ‘yelling’ then you should be embarrassed to run this business. As a group, we have morals and values than to resort to screaming or yelling at anyone and if you had in fact told us to ‘go away’, we would not have remained at your restaurant to eat our main meals, where I received my food poisoning. This is an example of your distortion of the truth to make yourself look good, it however shows how snarky and low you will go.

Furthermore, if the mould was in fact meant to be on the cheese, then you would not have taken the cheese platter off the final bill… obviously this indicates that you were in the wrong by serving mouldy, out of date and unhygienic food that doesn’t meet standards.

To then accuse a customer for not having food poisoning when in fact I was very ill after eating at your restaurant, is unprofessional. Learn to accept the review and the criticism from it, and improve on your products. Obviously you prefer to compulsively lie rather than listen to your customers and ensure that you produce safe food that meets standards.

Totally difunctional with table service, had a table of 9 with plates arriving at all different times, at least 45minutes between meals. Mine was cold, refused to pay and left uneaten. Friend opposite Luke warm, other people had to ask for meals. Then before desert even ordered at 7.40 told have to vacate table by 8.15 for another party. Never disclosed at time of booking as this is a get together of old work colleagues, I double checked with the booker actually. Shocking! So I just read their reply! They fail to mention, I pass around a few stone cold chips to others, to see if everyone agrees, which they do, they were served cold. They fail to mention the other so called "Karen" also has cold food and is telling everyone. What they are talking about at the till, is also totally not how it was. Food on the bill was not ours. Food on the bill was paid for already, a refund was given to one party, And this footage is showing this. They forget to say, I didn't eat my meal, so your account is totally unacceptable to everyone there, I pushed the bowl to the middle of the table, and that is all "I" said at the till, that I had told the staff member. You say no mention, I had already told the staff member whom served me, so why would I tell another staff member. I told the waitress whom delivered it they were cold and wasn't going to pay, the $8 for the dessert bowl sized chips, that are stone cold! And that is how it played out, they couldn't serve AN $8 BOWL OF CHIPS TO THE TABLE HOT. That is all I ordered, I ate no food, and got cold chips straight off the bat, which you have failed to mention. Hence why I gave you 2 stars, so if you do a valid review you are called a Karen by the Dock. Watch the footage again, and give an accurate response, the bill paying was an absolute disgrace also. Maybe call it for what it is, and don't justify your total stuff up...

Went here last night with a couple of friends and to say the least, this was one of the worst establishments I have ever been to. The place was so busy that half of the people there didn’t even have a table to sit at. Ordering a cocktail takes 25 minutes to come, I understand being busy but having to wait 30 minutes for a bowl of cold chips and a drink is ridiculous.

Then to mention the fact that my friend had half of a drink left and when we returned to the table the server had taken it away, so as anyone would do we go to the bar and my friend asks why he’s drink had been taken, the server says “you shouldnt have left”. This being said while the drink was being occupied by our party. My friend then asks what they can do for him to get a new drink and the server simply says that “there’s not much she can do”, and walks away as two other servers are just looking at us dumbfounded. We go line up for the bar and as we do so, we get approached by a security guard telling my friend he’s been abusing staff which is absolute nonsense, my friend did not swear once at any of the servers nor did he yell at them, I’m a server so I understand the difficulties and I would have never reacted the way the server did. I would have asked my manager what I can do since his drink had been taken away from him unfinished at our party. This establishment will happily point its fingers at abuse the second it’s rude and unprofessional staff members make a mistake and need customers to blame it on. Seriously taking a customers unfinished drink is unprofessional and for the establishment to not take accountability for its actions whatsoever is disgusting. I will be telling EVERYONE not to come here after this fiasco and would happily rate this place 0...
