辣妹厨房PrettyChef — Restaurant in Sydney

For food, I give 2.5 stars maximum because literally EVERY DISH is so SPICY to the extend that your intestine may burn from it (good luck for not staying on toilet for 30min the next day, if not the same).

For service, absolutely ZERO star. I have been to the restaurant twice, so the first time I booked a table at 19:00, and arrived at 18:30. There were walk-in people before us (while we have booking), and the waitress (Taiwanese) let them sit first (while we waited in coldness) instead of us, and eventually we waited for almost an hour to get our food. The second time is just now, we learned from last time and did not book, just walked in. There was one table said “reserved” and two other tables were available. The same waitress did not let us sit anywhere and said because “other people come first and I have to call them”. There was no waiting list shown, no reservation sign on the table and all communication was oral. The waitress was also very arrogant.

Fed up really. The food was really soso level and the attitude was garbage. Think before you step in, they will ruin your good mood with rudeness and arrogance.

As a Chinese myself, I am shamed of how the waitress treats guests.

The only dish worths eating twice is beaf tendon.

I hope they can fire the waitress. She is incapable...

Authentic and delicious Guizhou cuisine in Petersham... Never expected that I would ever write this sentence. But it is true. To Aussie friends: You should not miss it if you are a spicy and heavy taste food lover and exotic food explorer. But if you planned to order your usual Lemon Chicken and Mongolian Beef possibly try somewhere else. My only critique is the tomato soup base possibly not using the original Guizhou tomatoes but that's possibly too...

Had a delightful experience at Pretty Chef! The Beef Laksa was absolutely delicious, offering just the right amount of spice that I could handle. The staff was exceptionally kind, adding to the positive atmosphere. The pricing was reasonable, making it an all-around great dining experience. Also, they offer a variety of options for Chinese foods, which adds to the appeal. Looking forward...
