What can you say....its an institution! POSITIVE Came and fought it out for a parking spot at the rear. Was ultimately victorious. Rocked in through back entrance. Sat down and was attended to reasonably quickly. Ordered 1/2 chicken and fries $18. It arrived quickly and was devoured just as quickly. The thin fries and thin chicken didn't offer much resistance. The charred chicken was scrumptious with the chilli sauce. NEGATIVE Food barely touched the sides! Acoustics are appauling best, not even try and converse as noise bounces all over the back dining room With everything being lean like the shoestring chips, you best not travel too far before eating them. I like fries, but you have a 5-minute window to eat them before they go cold. $4 for a can of drink is excessive

the food is five stars and the service is zero stars and that’s what they get from me. they have rude staff behind the counter very rude. there is no doubt about the food how tasty and delicious the food is but they need to work on their customer service yea maybe you are busy but no one is getting the food for free you charge money. We placed an order for a whole chicken and combo 2 and 3 where on the sign said “ ... chips and drinks”. after the drinks were taken the lady was like “no we have to charge you more” . i asked for what its part of the meal “oh, on water and can” if thats the case please specify clearly to your customers without misleading them. To the owner, please specify the drinks you cant mislead and please improve your customer service as no one is eating your food for free.

Man... the line outside this place made me come. And BOOM! I wasn't expecting that size for the "Half chicken, chips and drinks combo" for $14. Maaaassive!!! I always went to the other one and feared the "Cash Only" takeaway policy. But here they've improved it from previous reviews and anything less than $12 they charge a 50c fee. It is the 21st century after all. Well done guys. But Yay to the size of the chips that comes with the combo with made me give this 4 stars. And that tasty tasty chicken. Free access to the hot sauce and boom boom, 5 stars it will get one day. PS. That sauce is hoootttt

The best Portuguese chicken you will ever have. The prices are quite cheap for the food there especially the chicken burger who h sells for $5.50. the chilli's sauce is really nice. I recently returned to show my family the chicken there but the service this time was abysmal. I had mistakenly ordered an extra half chicken with chilli and told the lady that I changed my mind since they had crispy pork belly (which is terrible, don't get it) and she said that I should have told her early that I didn't want it. I had apologised but she was still angry and was being very disrespectful

(Ex) chook shop owner reviews chook shop...but I was genuinely looking forward to trying this place. Service was the highlight, which is dead parrot plumage territory. The sandwich was pretty poor. The chicken had been off the charcoal and under lights for so long it was dusty as an outback paddock. The slaw was better than average, but the ciabiatta suffered from old age in the same way I do. I suspect if you turn up at high turnover time, you may get a chook that better reflects the culture. But on this visit, it was more Lismore than Lisbon.

What’s the relationship between burgers and Stockholm syndrome, one might ask. Frangos is. Their charcoal chicken and burgers are so delicious that you will begin to sympathise and then empathise with the atrociously rude behaviour of the staff! Easily the best charcoal chicken in a 20km radius. They use spatchcocks that makes the meat cook evenly. I’ve been going here for many, many years. Their quality and taste is constant. Staff also maintain equity is their rudeness. Everyone is treated like trash 😁
