This place has a charm of antiquity and abandonment with the old aqueduct, railroad bridges overhead and the graffiti covered canal. The flora provides plenty of shade while the bridges and locked gates cast magnificent shadows. This would be the perfect spot to film a dystopian future scene in a movie. The lack of water to fill the channel is a bit sad, but I’m guessing it’d be lovely after a nice downpour.

Read moreMy two Star rating is only because this reserve is in a dark and dingy place and if you are going there at dark hours, it feels unsafe. Also, it does not have any water available or bins at the park. Otherwise, it's a wonderful doggie Park where you can let your dogs off the leash and not worry they will run away. This is it's biggest draw card. It's probably the only fully fenced Park in Summer Hill where you can let your dog off the leash. The other draw card it there is graffiti art work...

Though small the park is fascinating with the train tracks overhead, new and old , and a beautiful stone water pipe viaduct.
