108 Stanmore Take Away — Restaurant in Sydney

I wish I had read the reviews before choosing to buy a chicken burger here. A chicken breast burger and chips for $16 felt disturbingly light weight when I picked up the bag. The tiny serve of chips tasted like they've been cooked three times before I got to eat them. I suspect they do not keep the oil hot enough to save on electricity. The chicken portion was hilariously tiny, flavorless, unseasoned and the bun was not fresh. There is literally nothing good about the food here and I will not return. They would be better cooking food from their own culture and not attempting Aussie favorites that I assume they do not eat or...

The most disgusting place I have ever eaten at. I ordered chicken breast burger and chips I got about 10 chips and not even half of a chicken breast probably a quarter and that's being polite. The chicken was over cooked to the point it was like wall paper paste in my mouth the bun was rock hard as it was over toasted in both sides mushy tomatoes that wer obviously not fresh. For the prize of 18 dollars this was truly shocking. Hands down the worst place I have ever eaten at. I just left everything there uneaten. The only descent things from this place are the soft drinks. 1 star is too much...

Awesomely friendly service and a great traditional Aussie take away complete with the infamous chiko role! They also have great pluto-pups/dagwood-dogs and potato scallops! Most places overcook the scallops so they are shriveled crisps of batter but this place cooks them enough to keep the actual potato!

The best part is the steak sandwiches are real steak sandwiches and not the crappy "trendy" kind that think sticking it on Turkish bread and using "aoli" and rocket makes it fancy to justify a 200% price increase! Nope, this place has the real deal!
