We were at the traffic lights and discussing lunch options when we noticed the sign $10 lunch so we quickly parked around the corner. The food was absolutely delicious for just $10. We both ordered the vegetarian Laska, the vegetables had a nice crunch. The broth was light, but the tofu was so delicious, it was soft of the inside but had a nice bite on the outside. The customers sitting next to us recommended the Roti, and that was perfect dipping into the Laksa soup. Considering the location and it’s across the road from the station, their prices are unbelievably cheap and the ingredients is all really good. I will definitely be coming back to try the other dishes.

Inner west locals value this restaurant. I have had the lunch special with a girlfriend which is awesome value at $10! Went to dinner here too very generous portions but variable standard. Pineapple rice good, the stirred chicken in ginger not great. The lunch was very good quality so it may depend on what one orders. The mixed entrees excellent. It’s BYO and only costs $2. Inside and outside tables and friendly staff. Worth a visit - good cheap eat🥂 Love your local guide- M❤️

I ordered Jungle Curry and ate it, but it was so sweet and salty that my heart ached. The food was not professional at all and it was an open kitchen, but the hygiene was not good. Chicken wings are not marinated and dry, so the dry ones seem to be fried or frozen products. The name is "Eat and shout" and it really tasted like I wanted to die by shooting at me who ate this food. 아 지옷나 맛없어.

This little local Thai restaurant has been in the neighbourhood for more than the 10 years I have been coming here. Of course a couple of owner/management changes over this time, however overall the quality has remained high. My friends and family that visit have often remarked at how good it is. Unfortunately I’ve now had a few poor takeaway experiences over the past year - our 2020 Covid lockdown year. I think the increased demands of churning out more and more takeaway meals could be a large cause, however I also suspect some of the chefs are not as good as they have been in the past. Quality control has slipped. I haven’t stopped eating here, and I hope the owners/managers do read these comments as an incentive to restore the quality that Stanmore locals have come to...

I don’t like to leave bad reviews but I tried to communicate my concerns at the time and didn’t have much luck. I ordered a papaya salad with soft shell crab at dinner time on a hot day - maybe that was my mistake, especially as the restaurant isn’t air conditioned. Nothing tasted fresh, the crab seemed on the turn, and the beans were definitely off. When I mentioned this to the staff they thought I was referring to the spiciness level (I know papaya salad is very spicy) and when I asked for a discount, they gave me the 5% off for cash that is standard. I could have pushed more but I had already said that it was off several times and I didn’t want to make a fuss. Looks like a cute little neighbourhood place but maybe go for something safer...

I was excited to receive the food hot when delivered.

The smells were amazing and we were all excited.

But unfortunately within a short space of time all three of us started to have a reaction to the food. My mother had the worst, in that she started to get a numbness in her tongue and then it spread down to her throat... I had a bad headache and I started to get heart palpitations. We all immediately knew this was the effects of a reaction from MSG.

There was NO mention of these guys putting MSG in their food. And I hope they will listen to me when I say "PLEASE LIST MSG AS AN INGREDIENT ON YOUR WEBSITE." Thankfully we didn't have to go to hospital, but it was looking close...
