Salisbury Hotel — Restaurant in Sydney

Fantastic venue for families and pet owners! We recently celebrated a birthday party there and the experience was seamless from start to finish, even on short notice! 🎈

The venue is incredibly kid-friendly, with a fun outdoor area with a truck that kept the kids entertained for hours. Dog owners will also love it here, our pups were welcome and could stay with us the whole time.🐶

The location is very convenient, with plenty of free parking around the hotel and easy access to public transport, it’s just a minute walk from Stanmore train station. 🚗🚊

A big thank you to Sarah, the manager! She was incredibly accommodating, flexible, and friendly, ensuring every detail was perfect. If you’re looking for exceptional service, be sure to ask for Archie as your bartender! His service was outstanding, and he brought such warmth to our event. 🙏🏼 🙌🏼

The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and served promptly. The chef and kitchen team even managed to prepare extra food for us on short notice, which we really appreciated. The catering menu offers a great variety of options, making it easy to find something for everyone especially vegetarian and gluten free options. 😋

I held my wedding, (yup, including the ceremony on the loft balcony so everyone could see.) at the Salisbury. Being able to bring together 150 people into a single location, with the spacious courtyard garden and booth areas meant that it was easy for everyone to relax and catch up. Being close to the trains, buses and city also made it easy for people coming from out of town to get to the venue. Sarah was amazing in the lead up and on the day making it so easy to get things done. Lee in the kitchen was insightful and managed a steady flow of food with redundancies for the large appetites people have when having a good time. Peggy and the rest of the bar staff were awesome and friendly making sure that the glasses were filled and reminding myself and the bride to eat food and drink water throughout the chaos. Over the weekend, we hosted our second function at the Salisbury Hotel (the first being in 2022). Both times were excellent. The venue is a fantastic place to host a function/party/special event with beautiful spaces in the courtyard and loft area. Bonus, as it is also very family friendly. The food was amazing and plentiful. The menu provided many choices and catered well to dietary requirements. All our guests had such a wonderful time. Prior to and during the event, the staff were so lovely to deal with – they made everything easy. Unlike most other places, this venue didn’t require a minimum spend or didn’t force us into set overpriced function package. Instead, we were able to work with the team to choose our own menu from their expansive function menu. Staff and service was excellent on the day.
