Toastettes — Restaurant in Sydney

This place is dangerous! Can honestly see myself getting addicted to coming back here so I can try all the different flavour combos! Came across this place after my colleagues ordered the bacon egg and cheese toastie on ubereats and RAVED about how good it was. I couldn’t stop thinking about it all weekend and had to come for lunch on Monday. Staff were super friendly and helpful and gave me great tips on what to order. Ended up with the Mediterranean with chicken (added the chicken on their recommend and boy was it a good one!) Really enjoyed every mouthful - I like my jaffles verrrry crispy so will probably ask for a bit longer in the toaster next time but that’s my personal preference! Good food, great staff - an all round winner! Definitely will...

Went here this morning for some takeaway brekky, and while the pickles and cheese toastie I got was really nice, the service was below average. When I got there, they were a little busy, however the lady who served me at the counter and who was also walking (not running) the made sandwiches out the front wasn't rude but also wasn't friendly. Once I ordered, I then watched the two people in the kitchen casually make the sandwiches and toast them. 18 whole minutes later, I walked back up to the counter to ask if my sandwich was ready, only for the same lady who served me to pick up a box already on the counter (that she hadn't called) and give it to me. The toastie was nice but definitely not worth waiting nearly 20 minutes for....

This place was absolutely incredible! We were randomly driving through the area when we spotted this shop on the corner and thought it looked cool, so we parked nearby (plenty of street parking) and decided to give it a go.

We ordered three toastettes—yes, three! We're foodies, haha. We tried the Triple Cheese, the Lamb Ragu, and the Lamb, Pea & Rosemary. Every single one was absolutely delicious, but the standout was definitely the Lamb Ragu. My partner and I were literally fighting over the last bite—it was that good!

On top of that, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We’ll 100% be back and will be bringing family and friends along...
