Strong Warning: Extremely Slow Service
I recently had an incredibly frustrating experience at this restaurant, and I feel compelled to share it with others. I placed my order over the phone and arrived at the restaurant promptly. However, what followed was an agonizing wait of nearly an hour for my food. What made this situation even more infuriating was the fact that customers who came in 20 to 30 minutes after me, with the exact same order, were leaving before I even received mine. This is not an isolated incident; it has happened to me three times during my visits.
It appears that if you are not already known to the staff, you will be relegated to the back of the line, regardless of whether you ordered in person or over the phone. This is completely unacceptable. I strongly recommend that this establishment implements a number order system that accommodates both in-person and phone orders.
Furthermore, what baffled me the most was the complete lack of communication from the staff. If there had been any effort to update me on the status of my order after the 40-minute mark, I would have been more understanding. Unfortunately, in all three instances, this was not the case. Whether I ordered grilled or fried seafood, the outcome was the same: I watched as three or more customers who arrived after me received their orders and left before me.
To add insult to injury, when I finally approached the staff about my order, they only began cooking it after I inquired about the estimated time of arrival (ETA). Their response was a mere five minutes, which, in reality, translated to a 15-minute wait.
In conclusion, while the food at this establishment may be great, the service is undeniably terrible. If you find yourself waiting for more than 30-45 minutes without any explanation, especially if others are being served before you, I strongly advise requesting a refund and leaving. It's evident that they do not prioritize customers based on their arrival order but rather on their familiarity with the staff. Remember, it should be first come, first served, regardless of how you...

Literally just finished vomiting and I have been feeling sick since yesterday after i consumed your food.
If you are saying that you replace your tray of Greek salad, as you clearly put it "a minimum of 2 trays a day". The opening hours for your shop everyday is from 9am to 9pm, so roughly two trays a day would be left out for 6 hours until your next replacement, UNLESS one or the other would be removed before half of the day then it would leave the next tray out for longer than 6 hours.
You are leaving your trays out for longer than 4 hours in the danger zone for pathogenic bacteria growth which causes foodborne illnesses AKA what i am experiencing today, yesterday and every other day that i ordered from Aces.
By the way, do not try and say that you keep your salads refrigerated 5 degrees celsius or less, because i would know when my salad is that cold. And they are never that cold!
Get a new fridge! or enrol yourself in a Food Safety Supervisor course!
Edit: No one inspects your food more than anyone but your own customers. The council is getting too much credit.15 years? You’ve been causing people diarrhoea and vomiting for that long? A baseless review to a baseless restaurant that doesn’t value enough food safety for...
Read moreOnly days before personally frequenting this business a friend had shouted me a rather delicious seafood lunch. I definitely had cause to enquire where it had come from as it was absolutely exceptional indeed. A few days later my Carers friend suggested they should go, eat a meal there as the friend was a regular customer who strongly recommended the business as the best around, I had already eaten so I didn't participate but instead observed staff, customers and what a truly fantastic business this is. Then to my absolute surprise, busy as they were the owner purposely went outside and approached a rather unkempt street person, told him to wait there. The owner went back inside, prepared a meal, then returned outside to give that person the meal with heartfelt encouragement an a gentle pat on the back. The whole experience of my shouted lunch and what had transpired within and outside the shop has blown me away. To the Owner, the Staff, the Customers and that dishevelled street person you are all blessed to be a BLESSING...
