Aldo's Pizza Restaurant — Restaurant in Sydney

The shock of me leaving a minimal $2 tip after handing over a $20 bill for Large pizza, should had been the first sign in combination with the unusual emotional response upon the ladie whom served appearing amazed and shocked.

Never the less upon receiving my cardboard box, I am sorry to say that the box iteself was more moist and consumable of what id assume was being presented as pizza inside.

Evidently below the photo in which are attached, I was under the assumption that I had order a BBQ meat lovers, however surprisingly receiving an item that look more so like an oil filled, defrosted produced unconsumable circle.

I never leave comments throughout google. Howevet this is not to vent more provide constructive feedback. Admit in guilt I have had many a meal at many great pizza places. However, upon attempting to tackel this pit, I never thought i'd say id rather go to dominos.

The service on the phone by the gentlemen that served me was the only positive expeience from the venture.

Strongly would like an explanation of how this restaurant can advertise woodfire Pizza yet present something that a frozen pizza would be in comparison delicious.

Fresh produce also be evident in consumption and impact quality, I do hope it improves for the business sake.

After raving reviews about Aldo's ... spur of moment decisions to dine out & see what all the fuss was about. Friendly staff, no complaints there. Uncomfortable chairs unfortunately. More uncomfortable was the somewhat fair size piece of metal I would've swallowed had it not scratched the roof of my mouth. Compensation from Aldo's was a sincere apology & a replacement pasta to take away. Yeah, kinda ruined my appetite after that and any appetite to return to Aldo's no matter how good reviews are. Luckily I'm pretty placid in nature and didn't kick up a fuss, however, a child could have acquired a severe injury or myself had it been swallowed. Turns out the "metal" that featured free of charge in my pasta was that ring that can fly off from those metal lids on jars for sauces.....which brings up another question. Are Aldo sauces coming straight from a bottle & not made on site ? 🤔 perhaps another reviewer can answer this or perhaps Aldo themselves. Atmosphere was good like family-friendly cozy place. But we had some unexpected experience to share.

We visited there on Valentine’s Day, and we ordered large pizza, dolce & drinks (flat white & hot chocolate).

Pizza took time to serve. Dolce & drinks were served first before pizza (normally dessert supposed to be served after dish) without asking 😅 So we had to start with dessert & drinks.

Then unfortunately dolce & drinks were not good as expected 😭 We ordered “tiramisu” (as attached image). It doesn’t look like tiramisu that I know. So I double checked with staff then they confirmed that it’s “tiramisu”. Is this Aussie-style maybe? Someone please explain 😅🙏🏻

And the flat white just tasted like Nescafé instant coffee & hot chocolate also tasted like...
