Absolutely excellent service and food! I came here for a spontaneous breakfast, and was met by the friendliest staff members. Whilst waiting for a table, a few regulars came in and staff greeted them by name. Regulars were friendly and happy, and this is always a great sign that you're in good hands!

Once I was seated, I was given enough time to look at the menu, but not so much that I was left waiting impatiently. I ordered the big breakfast and a small cappuccino. This arrived in good time, all food was hot when served (including the beans, which some kitchens in Richmond forget to heat!) and the serving size was on the larger side.

The only thing that I would have loved different is something that affects most of the Cafes in Richmond; the size of the indoor seating. During my visit I ended up opting to sit outside instead of waiting for an indoor table. On a mild or warm day I imagine this is not a problem, but on the bitterly cold day I visited, this ended up getting a bit uncomfortable. The limited space inside also meant the walkway was very slim when moving from the front to the back of the Cafe. Neither ruined the experience though, and could have been fixed with a bit of patience on my behalf.

Looking forward to...

My partner recommended this place for lunch so we went for food!

Extremely impressed with the service as every team member greeted us. Service was also fast.

I got the blt with Beetroot plus a pineapple juice. She got the steak sandwich and an iced latte. Very happy with the food and definitely would go again, the portions were not stingy and for the first time in my cafe dinning life - I have never left FULL and with leftovers until now.

Great place to eat and for the price it was perfect, I know 5 other cafes off the top of my head where I’d pay MORE for LESS and be less satisfied with...

Great place for a catch up with friends - always a nice selection of light meals and treats.

Service always outstanding and we have never had a bad meal. I love their soups - filling, tasty and healthy and my friends have enjoyed the more substantial food. They got a cake to share and the waitress split it onto two plates with cream and ice cream for us :)

Parking around the side street - a few car parks nearby.

We like the back area - even when busy you can hear each other talk.

Loos always clean and there is a disabled...

My first time in Richmond and I popped into the Park Lane Cafe. Upon entering, my daughter and I were greeted by the very friendly Viv who looked after us. My daughter had the Eggs Benedict with Bacon and I had the Mushroom, Cheese, Avocado and Spinach melt (see photo),accompanied by an iced latte and a moccha skinny capuccino, respectively. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meal and drinks. We chose to sit out the back in the garden section which was lovely and relaxing. Thank you for an enjoyable experience!

Park Lane Cafe is an absolute find! Their ham and cheese toasty is ridiculously generous - it's like they're challenging you to finish it! And let's talk about that coffee - the large size is perfect for a caffeine boost without breaking the bank. The staff are friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Plus, opening at 6:30am is a perfect for early risers. If you're looking for a delicious and affordable breakfast or coffee, this is your spot.👍
