Probably one of the worst Cafe I've been to. We went to this cafe and ordered Corn Fritter, however the fritter was very over-cooked, but the waiter claimed this is the right color for corn fritters, despite the fact that the fritter tasted bitter.
To respond to a few points: we didnt finish the food, the photo taken was the leftover food on the plate, because we didnt finish it. We DID report to the receptionist that the food was over-cooked when we went to pay our bill, and the respond we got was 'I'll let the chef know'. the reason we didnt request for another corn fritter is it took a VERY LONG time to prepare the corn fritter and we didnt have enough time to wait for the kitchen to prepare for a new dish. the photo below was the corn fritter we got served at the restaurant, anyone can tell based on the photo that the fritter was over-cooked, and it looks different from your advertised photo in the restaurant. I am just leaving an honest review, and any attempt to reveal any personal identity of any customer is not OK, I've already taken screenshot of your response and reported to ACCC and fair trading along with your restaurant address and ABN number. Ambience: cute little cafe. Tucked away.
Service: staff are friendly. Food came out fairly quickly.
Food: Breaky Burger with chips chips are fresh and crisp. Finger size with the right amount of salt and crunch. the burger was decent. Would have liked if it had a BBQ sauce or style relish, to give it some extra flavour.
Irish Breakfast. Overall, decent size portion. Bacon is good and decent portion. Eggs poached well. blood pudding/sausage was nice. Sausage was okay only. Not bad, just okay in terms of flavour. hash brown was good. baked beans was nice. the sourdough bread, was cut and not the best.
Improvements: toast the sourdough bread slices. The texture and taste was not the best. have tomato relish served with the Irish breakfast have BBQ added to the brecky burger.
Other ideas: service combo (breakfast wrap with coffee to cater to 6.00am rush from tradie. Breakfast wrap: egg, bacon with BBQ sauce.) have signage for coffee & breakfast wrap combo.
Overall feedback: Nice cafe with a lot...
