We had an amazing experience at Bayside by Chef Michael! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, attentive, and welcoming — you can tell they genuinely care about every guest.

We started with the soup, which was absolutely delicious. It came with a generous slice of toasted bread drizzled with olive oil — simple but so well done. The flavors were comforting, balanced, and clearly made with fresh ingredients.

We also tried the burger, and it didn’t disappoint! Juicy, perfectly cooked, and loaded with flavor. Everything from the bun to the sides complemented it perfectly.

I had the steak and was curious if they served it with rice. I asked the chef personally, and to my surprise, he served it with beautifully seasoned turmeric rice. The sauce from the steak poured over the rice was just divine — rich, savoury, and full of depth. It elevated the whole dish to another level.

You can tell that Chef Michael puts his heart into every plate. The attention to detail, the thoughtful combinations, and the passion behind the food truly make this place a gem. Highly recommend it for anyone who appreciates great food, excellent service, and a cozy, inviting atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back and try more...

Fabulous Indial lunch alert - Meat Thali combo has a bit of everything and absolutely delicious!!! Great lunch option. Corn Hill coffee remains one of the best in Sydney.

Update from June 2022: dinner on Fridays and Saturdays is now on! As always expect a usual meal with a twist. Deconstructed pies - mushroom and chicken, fish pie and vegetarian pies are all great (personally the mushroom and chicken one is my favourite). Great selection of New World and Old World wines to match. Great comfort food with a twist.

This has become our new local favourite! It’s by far the best coffee around! I am addicted. The brunch plate is one of the best things on the breakfast menu. The fennel chutney is one of the most amazing things I’ve tasted! The hash brown isn’t your typical has brown either. The flavour makes you salivate and hope you’re being civilised while eating. If you want something a little different today I tried the roti scrambled eggs. Normally I would have poached eggs and bacon on sourdough, which I need to add, are always cooked to perfection!
